Disliked{quote} Nah, you don't see it because you have no reason to look. It is very much like the regular people against Hitler, or Mussolini, or Pol Pot. It does not impact you directly so you cannot be bothered. Trump is our president because there were real victims of globalization in the rust belt that Hillary did not see. Their mistake was that they believed a snake oil salesman. I cannot wait for the EPA to deregulate coal in West Virginia again!Ignored
Disliked{quote} By the way Winston, don't get hurt feelings here in the RH. Things get said. Think like a debater.Ignored
DislikedHey, I am a Yank and she is right about the ridiculous leeway the FDA gives Big Food. It's crazy. It is almost impossible for us to eat well here unless you grow your own stuff or have fairly deep pockets. You are an NP so you make six figures. Think about the guy who makes a median salary. They will not be shopping at whole foods. Why does our government not protect the little guy?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Please can you clarify this. Do you mean safest as in least likely to die from violent crime and terrorism, from getting raped and mugged or safest from dying of lifestyle diseases like CV disease and cancer? Can you provide proof, preferably with statistics? I am not disputing your claim; however we do expect to see evidence when you make such a statement. For the record, unless you live in a war zone or in the third world, you are much more likely to be killed by a lifestyle disease than by violent means. Just to get some perspective.Ignored
DislikedIt's not that hard to get good food in the states. Organic food has become somewhat mainstream and is readily available. Most people are either unaware of the potential danger of the crap food, or just don't care.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Because the food and pharma industries work together. One makes people ill, the other "fixes" it. More profit. More globalist control. And you call that freedom. No freedom for the little guy.Ignored
Disliked{quote} My comment about safety was a sarcastic response to your sarcastic response about seeking a safety zone. But for many reasons I feel I live in the safest country in the world. My OPINION. I love how you conveniently play the "fact card" when its convenient yet you routinely make statements not based in fact. Again my favorite one is giving blood reduces heart disease and strokes by 80%. Still haven't fessed up to that one Jen.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Agreed. Any simpleton with an iPhone could easily find healthy food choices whether from a restaurant or grocery store.Ignored

Disliked{quote} What percentage of the GDP is the EU fee? What should it be? Is there a fixed percentage or do they just charge us what they like to balance their books? I think it is too rudimentary to assume 20%. VAT has 2 bands and many things are VAT exempt. What is the duty on fuel? About 80%? Corporation tax is now 19%, was 20% for all. But how about PAYE? That has numerous bands and it would be too complicated to work out a mean. The top 1% of taxpayers pay 27% of all income tax and you can be sure that's a lot more than 20%. You may find that the...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I was just trying to do a rudimentary calculation focused on tax related to trade, for the reason that so many Europhiles are fixated on the trade that we do with the EU. So that is why my focus was on corpoartion tax, as this is only paid on profits related to goods sold. So by my calculation, the UK's net EU fee, barely covers the trade we conduct with the EU in terms of tax collected on that tradeIgnored
Disliked{quote} {quote} Blah, blah, and more blah? None of these things had an impact on American blacks? This is just denial. Again, your problem with me is that I am not ethnocentric, nor will I ever be. There is one race, the human race.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thank you. Why couldn't you tell me that in the first place when I asked? There were no apps for that sort of thing when I was last in the US.Ignored
