Geppy vs. GJscalper - a duel to the death!

Hello everyone. I don't know how I got this virus on my laptop, but I had to reforat the laptop in order to get back up and running. It looks like we missed a sexxxy scalping day. I'll now take the time to thank Geppy for blocking the Demo Queens and the attention seekers, who now want to join what Geppy and I have started.

Oh and your "excuse" of this month being the worst month to trade is by far the lamest excuses every used to not be able to fund right away! lol I guess you will have to wait for your Father's child support payment to come in before you can trade.

Well that sucks. Glad to see you got everything back up and running.

The market this week definitely favors the scalpers. I know that's driving Geppy nuts but as long as he sticks to his plan it will turn for him soon.

Although this is my Hobby, I do trade full time, as I dedicate at least 10 hours a day to this. As for being able to LAST, it all boils down to ALWAYS using SL and respecting price action. If you are around tomorrow, you will see how my charts are setup and how the moment GJ hits my TP, i exit at that very price. I never let the profit ride nor do I ever trade for break even. As someone else mentioned, my form of trading deals with "martingale" money management. Why martingale? Well because martingale ALONG with the system which I uses, allows me to recover my last loss by more than 2x times. My system deals with not losing more than 3 straight trades which is why you see that my Profit factor is 3.

Of course, we will have fellow traders who say that "martingale" is dangerous and that my trading style won't last, but that is just based on the notion that I am emotional wreck as they are. I can show you a ton of my trades, in which if I didn't close and reverse my orders I would of ended up margin calling with 100-200 pip loss. Most will say " well lower your risk so you can make money when the market reverses" but I never assume that the market will reverse. I trade with 0 bias as for a recovery once a leg has begun!

So all in all, I would be able to do the samething in a 50k usd account as a 500 usd account, as my money management per pip depending on the formation and the sequence of the trade will always remain the same. With all of my years of experience, it has lead me to come up with not only the system, but the money management which is best suits me. I of course could lower my risk 10 fold and NEVER margin call but the risk one is willing to take varies between each person.

If you have never heard of July being a bad month to trade then wow. I also have my current live account and would rather use my spare cash to work buying shares at the moment, bought a ton of Lloyds shares incase you wanted to know what I've done with some of my money. ANYWAY, good luck with your challenge. I'll add my comments as and when I see fit. AND even though you're a bit of a wally you're trading very well, keep it up.

I think very few traders can be 100% cool and non-emotional when trading - esp when the market is going against them, or they missed out on a really good ride. So it is very impressive for GJS to really stick to a system without being tempted to deviate from it.
GJS - the emotions that some people experience while trading is kinda like your emotions on this thread. LOL

That is the plan. Many people see massive spikes down and the first thing they want to do is predict the reverse price. I have blown so many accounts which were going so well in the past, all because of me trying to guess what the top and bottom is. So as of the last 2 years I have used this EA and it has gone very well.

Yes no one likes to miss out on a run. Yet, those who miss out on and don't jump in while it is running are the ones who you should really learn from. Yet, it takes a lot of experience and self control. Once you master that, you will realize that saving your bullets, instead of busting shoots into the cloud is the way to go.

Ok. As of this moment, I am in a scalp sell of GJ.

TP is 139.491
SL is a CLOSE at or above 140.046 on the 1m
-----------------------------------------------------------

Should the SL condition be met, I will then switch to a 1.5 long of GJ
tp = 140.309
SL = given once it is activated!

Hi GJS - just wanted to clarify if i understood your system correctly .. so if *TOUCH WOOD* you have to go to the final order and that doesn't work out as well *TOUCH WOOD again*, does that simply mark the end of your sequence, and you just move on to the next trade when you get the signal?

I am hoping you don't have to go into your final order because I am in a long position too!
(And to those who are going to get irrationally angry - no sorry I don't have a TE to share or anything and I totally admit I am a newbie.)
I've been silently watching this entertaining thread for a while, following your current interesting trade pip by pip gj. I even shot a small sell with your first trade but I'm still holding to it

That is correct! If I have 3 straight losses in a sequence. I take the loss, and start all over again on the new calculation.
