xe.com - what is deal with weekend rates?

they are showing AUDUSD down 20 pips prior to my broker opening...I have seen this before. I guess I could just ask the people at XE.com, but anyone know if there is a "pre" market in asia and if there is validity to these quotes?

Yes, and they are rating GBP/CHF almost 300 pips less.
Last weekend this pair was rated 1200 pips less, and during the following week it has dropped. So it is worth watching, the weekend rates, also the rates during the rollover, during this time the banks are the leader , but the trader cannot do anything about it.
But dont worry, the open rate will be almost the same as the close rate on Friday, but with the gap, then this gap will be back closed, but the target remains what you have seen during the weekend, fulfilled in the next hours or days.

Seems whenever it gaps over the weekend it reverses the other way

avoid generalization, weekend gaps most of the time are random.
