For those who hold positions over the weekend, you can check how your currency is doing through this website. I rarely hold but when I do I am eager to see where its at, like the most of us! Here its is:

Have fun!

That's a great site. How often do they update it on weekends?

Ignored
Well, it seems to be updated continously. It's a live stream. During week days, it offers all rates most accurate (although with a little lag).

But as concerns the weekends, I do not understand where the rates come from.... as Forex (the place for trading currencies) is closed during weekends.
Anyone can explain this?

Forex is not closed. Your broker or dealing desk is closed. There is some amount of trading going on. Have you ever noticed that the closing price on Friday is different than the opening price on Sunday? in USA.

I believe that Oanda runs on the weekends, and you can follow your pairs there. But, I think that activity on the weekend is minimal, and should not effect your trading stategy

Take the weekend off; enjoy, relax!

Well if you look at the weekend just gone, especially at the JPY pairs, it gapped around 50 pips on my trading platform so at times there can be decent movement (granted not compared to a weekday range but still enough to chew up a stop loss)
You can quit and they won't care, but you will always know.

woops, didn't see the responces. All question answered, haha.

Also, Im not sure if you guys remember the muslim attacks in France but that caused the EURUSD to tank. Imagine getting in on that over the weekend.

The site may have a little lag but its just a good resource to check on sat once in a while.
