Past results are not indictive of future performance. But I've personally been trading this system for over a year profitably. I've actually transitioned into using Prop money.

Without knowing completely. I can already see what you are trying to get "at".

The thing with this system is even if I had 3 years of backtest data it would be worthless too you.

1. You don't trade like I do. You won't execute the exact way I executed because the execution is ever changing based on Technical and Fundamental reasons
2. The same Geo-Political environment that "created" that set of data. Doesn't EXIST anymore its ever changing.

That is why "backtesting" is for the birds. Those market participants aren't the SAME ones today impacting price. So its practically useless.

The strategy is more a "framework". to use against Price action and Fundamental Analysis.

This is the KEY reason why all these EA's getting touted around die off just as fast as they come around. Because those market variables change.

This strategy requires price action analysis and NEWS/Fundamental analysis. Things that will not and cannot be replicated in the future.

I believe Pivoter also provided a link to action forex. Remember, a few pips off, especially on the higher ATR spredas is fine.

I've tried a few different pivots from the clipboard but still out and not sure how or if the settings can be amended so currently at a loss.

Yes , absolutely.
Read the material , ALL OF IT , understand it , look at the thousands of charts so that your eyes become "chart smart". Reread everything again.
FOLLOW THE RULES OF DAVIT'S TRADING SYSTEM , ALWAYS !!!!!

Absolutely agree.
Yes you're right. this system has been improving since 2016. But in order to know how robust and profitable it is, it is better to see the long history. That's why I asked if anyone is actively using this system and makes a record of trades, for example in MyFXbook.com . So far, I have made about 20 trades with the Pivot tradig system on the EU / USD and I am still in positive numbers.

Disappointing day. Closed some loosing trades to return more margin.

UC awaiting News from the FOMC this morning.

A rise in US Interest Rates has been talked about for over 1 month now , thus , has an increase already been priced into the Market thus making ANY increase a non-event ? Interesting questions to ask yourself , eh ?
Unlike the Canadian economy , the US economy can withstand high interest rates. FACT.
The point I'm attempting to make is , in my case , I DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF A FREIGHT TRAIN !!!!
So , I will be on the sidelines until the actual News Release and not enter any trades for approximately 1 hour AFTER the News Release , in order to allow the Market to settle down IF IT HAS TO.

What would make the usd move up is any hint of future rate hikes alothough I've read somewhere that the priced in 7 rate hikes so i dont know lol

Correct.
No one knows with absolute certainty , EVER !!!!!
YOU have to determine whether or not YOU believe that YOU have identified an edge to put the probability of success in YOUR favour.
A tremendously valuable lesson that I learned from Mark Douglas is that anyone in the Business News Media who advances an opinion , "...almost always has their own hidden agenda". Thus , it's just an opinion , nothing more.
"RED NEWS EVENTS" , like today's News , are complicated by today's Geopolitical scenario.
One positive takeaway that I took from the 25 basis point hike is , at least it increased and the Fed didn't stay put.
