Reminder when not sure about USD trade none USD pairs.Often none USD pairs are more predictable.

Got a good one on EU short, but again exited really too early.

I know a profit it's a profit, however I have to work heavily on this aspect for I leave on the table too much.

Davit did write to my orders: "You got to work on your impulses. You have history of early unnecessary entries".
At the end he was Right.

Hi Renko,

I suffer of both issues, early entries & early exits!

The good part is there's a lot of room for improvement.

Best regards,

Closed all my trades now. It was a nice week, with drawdown, but in the end it worked out quite well. My results for this week on my demo account:

I know, its way to much risk. But its demo and I want to see how fast I could grow a very small account. I would never risk that much with an bigger account.

I could grow this demo account within 17 days already 73% now. I know the target is consistency and not huge profits, but still I need to see what is possible for me....

Thank you Davit for your guidance

I hope you all had a good week.
my week was a little complicated. Few trades. I still haven't managed to keep my $ 2000 / month target.
in fact, I am still in the process of recovering from my February and March losses
It is complicated without risk, with a balance of only around $ 10,000 (20% per month probably is too much)
Let's see if the coming weeks will be more promising.
After all, we are in the best spot in the FF, even with Davit a little absent.
I sincerely wish he is very well and come back soon
cheers !!

It is good to work developing your strategy in the demo environment but the one key factor missing here is psychology when live money is at stake. You can from bubincka posts see that early entries and exits never seem to affect people much in the demo market but when real money is on the line it is a different situation.

From my experience growing an account rapidly should not be a GOAL because you can lose it just as quickly and to me, that is just gambling. Consistent returns over long periods should be a goal in my opinion.

For those still using TDI...When price heads south and reaches a point higher than its previous low and TDI went straight down to lower end...odds are it is a continuation of uptrend. Same on opposite if looking for a buy. See image as example (nothing to do with his trade it just was there). Go through your charts and see how this happens quite often.

I am going to post this portrait painting as perfect trading system. Yes Trading is an ART and all ARTS are related.
You might be wondering has shoulder injury drove Dave to insanity? No just follow me along for the ride you'll find it fascinating.

Before he begins he has basic drawing done.Get this wrong no likeness!
Trading equivalent 1.Structure of the market.Got this wrong nothing else will makes sense.

Here lays down background tones basic colors on the face.
Trading equivalent 2.Checks out news, events fundamental factors to support the structure.

Here More details does not make more realistic painting
Trading equivalent 3.Resist adding too many indicators it only clouds and skews price

Here When getting tired walk away to freshen the mind.
Trading equivalent 4. We get caught up in the trading pill that you must place a trade when conditions are not right.Take a walk clear your mind you'll see the market with fresh eyes and insight.Don't force trades.

Part of painting is always stepping back to see the whole thing.
Trading equivalent 5. Dont look at only 1min 5min 15min charts look at H4 Daily weekly as well.

Lastly my favorite "dont be afraid of dark colors"

Don't be afraid of the market!

Lastly painting is done and trade is placed!System is style of the painting the genre. All the elements combined and trade executed.Notice he is not afraid to paint!Rather relaxed about it.He has made thousands of mistakes and still does but does finish great paintings. That's what counts.Without trial and error there is no learning. Its the whole process!

See I told you its related!

I am going to leave one last thought and its IMO essence of trading.

Remember I posed the question what if you used line chart what may constitute PA?

To me (have thought a lot about this) trading is momentum.Does not matter what system you use if you get this right everything clicks get it wrong it falls apart.
Within momentum there are events fundamentals news manipulations by MM but in its essence its momentum.
Work towards getting it right.

Example today I made over 1200 on EC purely on momentum PA
Have a great weekend.

Bubincka, would like to suggest some amendments to you to help to improve entries. I attach pic. Marked are important places. For momentum helps e.g. stoch 933. For area, attached SD indicator. You can use around pivots. Then 1H time frame, it is with much less noise.

Hi snail69,

first, thank you very much for your suggestions.

Even if I'm convinced that the main reason behind early entry/exit is more psychological than technical I'll give it a try.

Then about the zone indicator you posted it should be good to have the source code, do you have it ?

Best regards,
Bubincka
