I just tried your EA for the first time on this news release. It all worked okay, except both orders were opened with 0.01 lots, when I set the lot size in the EA to 1.0 lots. Any idea why? This was on IC Markets.

Since its going to be buy/sell anyway a time settings for the news time will be appropriate in case one will not be available to click during the news time.

This is a good idea! But I have to implement net stop loss in money as well.

I opened Hedge Positions with NZDUSD and GBPNZD

since correlation is 90% in 5min and H1

Yes I noticed how important the net SL is today I had gbpusd and usdjpy open for the building permit and both went into loss at some stage and I wondered what will happen if the scenerio continued. Please do me a favor do the SL for individual trade in pips

I cashed in about 10 USD for this basket/news.
Tomorrow, I am going to trade Retail Sales m/m GBPUSD and EURUSD

What are your lot sizes?
Did you do Sell/Sell or Buy/Buy?

sell/sell , lot size 0.1 ( EU/UJ)

The same settings here. However, I disabled perfect hedge lot calculation for this trade.

I tried with the FOMC news today, with original settings (perfect hedge enabled and TP at 5$), EU/UJ, but instead of sell/sell, I went to buy/buy, and got almost 10$ profit on TickMill ECN.

The beauty of this strategy is that, if we target for a small profit, there will be a high probability to exit with some profit regardless of which button we select to trade.

If you don't mind, I have some suggestions about it:
1 - Insert option to automatically open the orders 30 seconds before the hour and minute the user sets. For example. I can check the news for today, go to EA, insert the trading time of the news I want, and then the EA will open the trades for me 30 seconds before that time and day. The EA could also obtain the high impact news automatically, but that takes a lot more time to do I believe.
2 - Insert option to set a maximum time to wait for the target profit to be reach. If after that time the target has not been reach yet, the EA will set a stop loss or breakeven level and close the order if one of both are hit. I know it will make it more automated and perhaps this is not your intention, but this helps a lot people that may not be available to follow the news 100% of time.
