Dancingphil's most important level is the level of gullibility found in most newbie traders. Tied for second are his level of deceit and his level of arrogance. He comes to the forum and convinces people that he's made millions trading forex with his secret techniques, then collects thousands from the suckers who join his offsite Skype group. The only trading he will do is from your wallet to his.

If this thread was from a legitimate trader asking a legitimate question, I would suspect they were talking about the daily fix. That's because its rarely discussed on FF. But current price is a very clever answer to the question also. With my own method it would be pivots, probably followed by the daily open.

I've been on FF for 8 years and Phil is one of the slickest snake oil salesmen I've seen. Gotta give him credit for that!

Hi Pips cruiser
This maybe harsh but to me people who become victims of scums that's including brokers offshore giving bonuses to lure suckers deserve the faith they bestow upon themselves.Their motivation is greed which overrides common sense and asking rational questions therefore there will be always % of traders who fall for this.
Guys who know what's going keep building equities without much fanfare and understand reality of trading.
As far as DP I am not going to sign up any skipe group nor care about his views.I posted only because the question intrigued me.
Regards
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

Human jealousy knows no bounds.

I'm rich, you are not - so let's slag lots of shit on Phil. There is NO TRACE of me trying to sell anything to anyone here on FF, or anywhere else for that matter. But let's slag lots of shit on Phil anyway, because we are pathetic and jealous. Because we are small minded trolls with so much energy to just slag shit at Phil, rather than focus on the business of trading.

Yet isn't it ODD, that after all the shit has been slagged off on Phil; the fucking morons STILL seek to answer my question.

My question IS relevant. As I said from the outset, I am NOT going to answer it - you dweebs should be able to answer it using your own pattern recognition wet-ware called your brain. ALL human advances have been made by KNOWING THE RIGHT QUESTION TO ASK.

Morons. I simply asked that question for you monkeys, so that you can climb out of the trees and stop licking your balls.

The question I posted for you to ponder was a GIFT.

But you are all so full of yourselves, with your trivial lives, all so focused on slagging shit on Phil. Male slut Phil. Article writer years ago Phil. Rich Prick Phil. Fuck Phil, I am a failure at trading, so let me get revenge by slagging off Phil.

I have NO interest in adding to the 36 people in my group. Not a single word I have said has suggested differently.

My ONLY WORDS simply asked you to think about a fundamentally important level that is on your charts ALMOST every day, and you all go spastic and out of control with slander.

How am I NOT confused you can't make money trading?

I shake my head at the morons here. Pathetic.

I owe any of you dickheads what?

Ah, my middle finger. Pathetic.

Checked some statistics.
The only criterion that matches with your "claim" is:

Price tends to move during the day towards big round numbers like 50 and 00.

Now everybody can make his own mind if that alone provides an edge.

I agree with you fully. Most important level changes everyday and its not s/r. But it is damn subjective cannot make anyone understand. Your Title shows your experience. I think the most FF members fail to get an idea. Their wild guess is S/R or Pivots.
Ignored
Would you say that Pivots are Not important prices? The reality is believing something and having proof to support such believe is something totally different. Simply look at daily pivots which are calculated at say Asia open, and then look at the high/low create right before US market closes. You would notice that over 98% of the high and low occur RIGHT at a daily pivot and should the s3 or r3 be touched, then the price will run right towards the weekly or monthly pivot which is passed the respected s3 or r3 pivot points.
If most of the accumulation is spent at a pivot price, and if most of the clean bounces occur at pivot prices, how could one say that those prices arenīt important? Simply realizing pivots are important isnīt enough... You have to also understand price action in order to identify when the price is going to shift away or towards a pivot. From the little time I have been here, and the many hours I have spent reading threads, I see that not many go into depth of pivot prices and price action at those prices.

A useful level can be seen by looking at the highest volume bar of yesterday's hourly chart. The closer level of the two (o/c) is regularly retested and bounced back from the next day. Those interested should study posts of pres78 (http://www.forexfactory.com/pres78).

Maybe the open price? and of course the closing price, these two are the most important level, imho

*The open price

It was set by the big players, overnight deals, invisible order and secured in secret, there goes... bam the next morning public will have unsuspected gaps up or down, crazy ones. But that's not a floor restriction, sometimes they come out optionaly in light too, and if they did then the press will tell it

*The closing price

It's where intraday traders with very limited capital are chasing $, about 20% of the total moves, couldn't be more

NOT yesterday; what is the most important level on your chart TODAY? Buggered if I am going to tell you - yet it is real and new every day. This level that is relied upon by it seems EVERY Market Maker. This level returned to several times almost every day. I haven't traded in 13 months. I am still only worth my $88 million back then. I still only own that cash, less the $17,000,000 and change I paid to buy 12,400 ounces of gold at an average of $1,367 per. Yet I cannot understand why people haven't seen or understood the MOST IMPORTANT level on...

Most days... Red lines are H/L mids, black are close/close. I guess a case could be made for the London open also,
but I don't think it gets back to there as often as it does to the mid.

I usually don't get caught in between crossfire and try to avoid it if at all possible, but a trader I respect recently subscribed to this thread and I followed the link because I was curious. I found it amusing in a sad kind of way that there was so much hate directed at the starter of this thread. I first I thought the links (posted as "evidence" of what) were amusing, and curiously like everyone else followed them...and found this one that whoever posted...

https://www.elance.com/e/dancingphil/

If you look at the page carefully, it shows Phil hiring programers not just for MT4 but also for java and an API interface and database...now why would someone do that unless....you gotta give him some credit...what you want to see account statements? his bank statements? a live trade explorer? what does that prove unless you are trying to prove something to gain something. If someone does have what he says he has it would make sense that he not show you right? There might be 22 year old traders making 500k a year showing off their bling bling and wanting more, but after a certain amount of security, one tends to avoid showing bling bling at all costs unless an event calls for it...just something to think about. Anyway, I don't even know why I took the time to respond, the guy can defend himself just fine and doesn't need anyone to back him, but come on...it's his thread and as far as I know I don't know anyone who has been sold anything by him, it would also make sense if there was a scam that the one scammed would retaliate either legally or civilly regardless of any legal threats from the offending party or at the very least comment online personally even anonymously regarding the scammer. The person(s) posting hate messages here are a bit vicious for no real reason.

I'm probably going to get some backlash for this post, but really so what?
