Yep same play as it has been the last few weeks.

But at what point will everybody be looking at trend reversal ? and may be a bigger move ?
Break of 85.51.

When do these trades become a long term hold?

I think a lot is going to depend on the bigger picture. How is market going to react to who wins the elections. Is the fiscal going to be resolved? Is there going to be more stimulus? Is there going to be more QE? Definitely not so cut & dry.

Big moves in Asia? Any hints? My chart shows a nice consolidation: MACD is ready to go up, Fibo's 61.8 is almost 1 dollar away at $81.30ish and also Ichimoku Kumo's looks nice around this area

Very likely, but I suspect even if NFP is horrible which is expected hurricane sandy it will be mostly priced in in front of the number & we will see a small selloff on the news that the market will shrug it off fairly easily before the end of the session. RBA rate was very similar. It doesn't seem as though there's any real selling (institional level bears establishing positions) going on & market tend to float when volume is light. Today's US session should shed a lot more light on the next couple of days.

LED gains hurting yen

Written by Adam Button

There is a Nikkei story circulating saying the LDP is firmly in the lead for the Dec 16 election.
It’s boosting USD/JPY, but 82.50 continues to hold.

Depends we could start to see movement as preliminary poll numbers hit the wire. Today's move I believe was based on some early poll numbers that LDP is firmly in the lead. I'd expect next week there will be some jaw boning from both sides & prelim poll numbers will be the story to pay attention to. It is very possible that the market will try to price in LDP as winner as long as the polls remain as they've been or get more favorable for the LDP party.
