Need a Forex Thesis Subject

hello,

i come to you to listen to some good ideas of subject for my thesis on forex ,

as part of my training to become financial advisor i would like to to propose a thesis on forex theme but i have some problems to find precisely.

What question about Forex// investment could be interesting to develop ?

i'm a little bit stuck at this time so i hope you'll can enlighten me of your knowledges ^^

Viability of Forex Trading as a source of Regular Income (i.e Trading for Living) versus as a means of patient equity building (as part of a diversified investment portfolio) .

The effectiveness of neural networks in the management of a forex portfolio.

The importance of time in a forex management (technical/fundamental) strategy.

You didn't really explain the purpose of your thesis. It is a doctoral thesis, a master thesis etc. Do you want to be employed in a particular area once you graduate. Do you know the hot buttons in employment now?

Personally, if it is a Ph.D thesis, I would look into Behavioural Finance. You could do a longitudinal study of the COT report, look into hedging programs from an international business perspective etc. Remember that the market moves because of Toyota having to buy steel from Canada to sell cars into other foreign markets and not because of all the retail traders that exist. You could also look into change in rates and their effects over time. Canada increases their overnight rate, money flows in, CAD increases, exports are more expensive, imports cheaper.

So decide first..fundamental, technical, behavioural, macro, micro. Once you know where your interest resides then it is easier to drill down into a particular area. A thesis is a very deep drill down in a very specific area. You also want to know that data exists for your area.

it's a little thesis of around 25 pages but 25 pages is not a lot and a lot at same time so i was trying to find something not too specific ,


i like the idea of skenobi,i thought to it too but it's enough precise like subject , 25 pages on that could be perhaps too much but with a lot of stats, some graphics,etc

it could be ok ^^

so perhaps i'll can put some of your ideas in it guys and derivate on some macro,micro considerations
