Almost immediate fail. At open price was out of balance and overnight was mostly short. I anticipated a move back toward balance at least for the open. It did not pan out that way.

Well, on to the next trade.
Never one to give up I am on to my next trade.

potential profit 300

If usdjpy goes below 114.81 by 9am eastern
Target hit. Finally a good day. Now I will just sit back til the next trade.

Full disclosure, because of the craziness in the last few minutes I actually took profit at $282 instead of 300. Better safe than sorry. I did not want to be deep in profit and then lose it all because of wide volatility. Binaries can be funny like that.

Turns out it was the right decision. If I had held the contract to expiry I would have lost it all. Whew.
Back again. Wasted 80 on a stupid trade.

Anyways, risk 200 to make 200 per MM plan. eurusd needs to be over 1.1140 at 3pm eastern

If it fails back to zero for balance. If it succeeds then I just need 2 more trades to complete 1st round of trades which is always the toughest part.

This time I will not be babysitting the trade. My weakpoint is always fiddling with stuff when I am in a trade so I will let it be as it will. I have found this really hindered me in the past when I got to higher amounts in the thousands. So I will develop the habit of just setting it and forgetting it.

Well I was expecting a move. I wasnt expecting it to move that fast. Profit hit already even without expiry.

Balance a tad over $400.

So far so good.
Half way through the first stage. One thing to note is the distance in time in my trades. I really had to buy in on just waiting for my ONE setup and not over trade. With this experiment the goal is compounding so I really must pick only the best trades and otherwise sit and wait. I guess getting burned on all those trades in the past is finally paying off.

But all i did was worse the outcome off that trade.
When i realized how much this fiddling has cost me, it was clear that i'd better never ever touch these trades again and just let them go.
It took me some time but i am now able to be satisfied with what the market gives me.
Persistence will get it. Consistency will keep it.

Agreed. This was my true weak point in trading and still a work in progress. But I am seeing good results from just leaving the trade alone and letting it play out.
All in today. 40 contracts for eurgbp to be below 7840 at 11am eastern. If succesful that will return 3k (Sold at 88.75)

Also, 23 contracts for eurgbp to be below 7840 at 7am eastern if successful will return 1725. (sold at 91.25)


I will let the trade run and periodically take a peek. Will be a great day or a bad day but either way all the chips are on the table lol.

Well the 7am did not profit. I am glad I spread the risk. I was fairly certain this type of move would occur. Binary is trick, you can be right in direction but wrong in time. Fortunately the 11am strike went under 7840 and i was able to take profit. Not exactly where I wanted but still 2k is a nice profit on the day.

Now to sit back and relax for the day. Finally a good day.
73 contracts bought an average of $13.81 for eurgbp to be over 7840 by 11am eastern. will sell 36 contracts at $50 and 37 at $80.

Should return $4760 if all goes to plan. Looks rather dubious right now but there is room to pop after us open. We will see.

Another big chance.

For what its worth that is looking like a horrible trade right now. But I still have time.
Sitting on the sidelines not trading today. It is almost comical how much better a trader I am when im not actually trading

As soon as I make trades my thinking seems to do funny things vs when I just sit and watch.
Still on the grind. Just an update. I have found that just being really slow and only taking the absolute best setup for your system is the optimum for this MM experiment. I have noted my main weakness is over trading and to some extent greed.

For the most part I have overcome this and am profitable.

A breakthrough the past month has confirmed my slower pace is better. About 40 days ago I made 9k in one day from $120. I promptly lost it all taking bad trades trying to get to the next level.

I have done this several times in the past but this time it hit me for all my planning and screen time it would be for nothing if I didnt become more patient. I stopped trading, waited for the setup again and boom 30 days later I made 8k from 240. Immediately I took out 5k to pay myself and get a few things. The other 3k????? I blew it AGAIN.

BUT this time I didnt feel bad because I took money off the table and used it. And I know now for sure that I will just sit and wait for my trades and take it slow and make good money this year.

This is all a process people. Know your weakness, dont lie to yourself about it and overcome it and that is when you ill become a good trader.

Am I there yet? No, I know I can trade, I know what I am doing. But until I put discipline together with it then it is all for naught. I am close though.

On a side note, it is nice to see that when I set up my charts and make a trade plan that I see the same sentiments on the other websites. I do my work before I research other sites so my plan is not biased. Makes me feel as if I am on the right track.
