This thread seems to be dying down a little... anyone still trying to make this profitable long term?
Yes, since this only costs a couple of minutes/hour...it is working and I simplified it even more: only using the "non lag ma nrp", no histo or ma (the ma did not have any useful function anyway..).
After 2 months or so we'll have some stats to look at.

some comments regarding the previous post.

-Half of the trades were taken live,on a 100 euro account used gor trial purposes.
-For the rest I tried to make it as real as possible, using the F12 feature on MT4.
- I use HA candles
-the pair is GBPUSD
-SL 10, TP 5
-trading time is between CET 0700-1700, that is one hour prior to FO to frankfurt close.
-the left table is what the header states....... 100% mechanical, ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTION AT ALL.
-on the right side the trades are sorted out based on the RSI.
If at xx:00, the indi changes color, and the RSI on 1min TF is between 32-68, I trade as per the initial plan.
If at xx:00 the indi goes red (green), and the RSI on 1min is -32 (+68), that is oversold (overbought), probaly you can see a series of red (blue) candles,
then I wait for the next sell (buy) signal, based on the TDI


today's trades. 1/4 wins until now, -25 pips.
On the right side, 1min TF, the red line is the mechanical trade, the yellow is the TDI trade. Both were on the red.

Anyone from the thread still using it?
The Euro trade was nothing to do with this system.

Another successful day, easily hitting target.
Thanks to ComoxBluejay and later to as02 for the original inspirational thread.
The stop loss was hit on one trade due to trying a S/L EA to manage the trades.

wow-- nice results Kaylan.

How are you trading this? Looks like your using the -1 in the no lag... Are you using the rsi like as002 or just going off the color match of NL and color ma?...

Im thinking this looks like a good candidate for a EA.. What do you think?

Thanks for your interest.
Mainly using the NL (set to 0) and the colour ma. as the first indication
Find the line chart ideal for clear indication on which way to trade.

Also I confirm with a candle chart before committing a trade. 1 hour and 15 mins
There is an EA in the thread somewhere but I did not have much success with it.

Its really a matter of using your eyes and common sense. Watching for pivot points, round numbers and news.
and mostly going with the trend

Tried various s/l trade managers but seem to cause me more problems that what they are worth.

It really is a simple system.

It seems to work for me.

It is just one small part of a collection of aids to try to find the right direction to open a trade.

Not been around to do a full day today.

Roger that, I'll give it a whirl next week using the original settings to start with and see how it goes.

A line chart and also a candle chat for confirmation.
