BTW, you are using EA version 5 which I think you are still experimenting because in the first post is still v4. Right?
Cheers!

Disliked{quote} seller9, thank you for your explanation. I looked at your chart and compared it the one that I posted, it seems that my IXO1 didn't change color like your chart. Mine is green all the way from the start of the trend. I guess it is because of the 2260 Box Size I am using and you are using 1130. I'll try 1130 when the trades are closed. BTW, you are using EA version 5 which I think you are still experimenting because in the first post is still v4. Right? Cheers!Ignored
DislikedLooks like the Administrator has fixed the thread so we can get back to work. The next version of the EA will be out this weekend with the changes shown in the screen shot below. I don't have time to update the manual at this time but you should have no problem in seeing what i have done. I hope these changes address some of the changes that have been asked for. Disliked{quote} @seller9, the new EA you are going to release this weekend has the capability to reverse any two pairs designated as Pair 1 and Pair 2. Are we talking about correlation and the EA will trade the pairs in opposite direction? If this is the case, I hope the EA can determine which pair goes Long and which one is Short, either in automated trades or manualIgnored
DislikedHey seller9 I like this EA so far it is real easy to use and its dumby proof lol I'm ready for the new release this weekend. I will also start posting some results of this EA so people know its the real deal because i seen someone earlier try to say it is not profitable.Ignored
DislikedSeller can you kindly send me to the post where it has the indicator with the wicks off pleaseIgnored
Dislikedseller9 Should we be able to backtest a single currency pair with your EA? I have tried several pairs to no avail. I simply input the desired parameters and selected a single currency. Thank-you in advance. SDIgnored

Disliked{quote} Before you comment on my question, it might be wise to ask the intent. Here's a clue...lay an H1 GJ template over either a 14 pair or the core5. I think you'll see the "intent".Ignored
Disliked{quote} Okay SD, I am sorry for not asking your intention. Now, what is your intention? Basket trading strategy is to predict/calculate the movement of overall pairs in the basket. My suggestion is if you want to test single currency one by one, what you can do is to keep track of the entry/exit day and time according to the Basket EA on 14 pairs and use that entry/exit point to the currency pair you are backtesting. Maybe that way, you can see the pattern of which currency goes the same way the EA does, and which currency goes the opposite...Ignored

Disliked{quote} That is what I have been playing around with for a while now and haven't come up with an answer yet so maybe others can also give it a try. What I did was take the start and stop date and time of a 14 pair basket on the H1 time frame and place these same start and stop time lines on each pair of the basket, also on the H1 time frame. I was trying to get an idea if it was wise to reverse certain pairs or even enter each pair into the basket trade when it was going in the same direction as the basket.Ignored
Disliked{quote}From what I saw it didn't work to always reverse the same 2 "CHF" pairs, as sometimes they went with the basket and other times against, so I am now looking for a way to tell the direction of each individual pair and then maybe enter them into the basket that way.Ignored
Disliked{quote}I have tried the IXO 800 on the H4 on each pair but found it didn't work the way I wanted it to. I am now trying the TDI on each H1 pair to see what it shows, you can see this on one of my recent screen shots, the green and red numbers, maybe even simple moving averages would give us a hint. If we can find a way that also gives us an idea of the strength of the movement of a pair we could also add to the pair that is showing a stronger movement than the rest of the basket pairs. After looking at a lot of the H1 pair charts it it also true...Ignored
