I have a problem setting the EA. my broker GKFX in UK does not allow downloading of historical data on my current mt4 account for forex spread betting[which is not liable to tax in the UK] although will allow download on a forex/cfd, acc [which is liable to tax]. They will allow download on a demo acc on which I have been trading for several weeks, however i want to trade live. Can anybody suggest a broker who will allow appropriate setup/BROKER

What if you download the history into your demo account and then copy it across to your live account using windows explorer?
Simply copy the contents of the demo 'history' folder over to your 'live' history folder.
Would that work?

Hello , I would like a help, in the tutorial step is

  1. Start up your MT4 platform
  2. Open a M1 chart of USDJPY
  3. Attach the Uj_h1_14P template to this chart.

I already searched for Uj_h1_14P but i can't find , the template is uj_basket_m1_h1.tpl or this bt_14_v5nb_h1_14p.tpl ?

That tutorial is for a version no longer used or supported.

Go to the first post and go to the YouTube link and look at the latest videos.

Well, I'm still using that version and it's working almost perfectly. The problem is with the invalid EX4 file and the global initialization failure. It seems that a lot of people are having this problem - 0 errors 0 warnings when compiling the code, but it's not running in the MT4 platform. PLEASE try to do something.

It seems your the only one with the problem, many are using it without a problem on Build 646 for weeks now.
I am running it on 3 different Brokers with no problems, it just keeps moving along picking up pips all by itself.
No point in fixing something that's not broke.

How are you compiling the code, since it was never given out?

what are the best settings for the basket writer? when a basket is displayed you go then immediately short or long, or only when all Show on are green? there are certain key numbers that have assessable mate in the settings of the ixo with a different number?

Its just a trial and error of what is going to work for you. The best way is once you see what the basket writer is showing you is to then go and look at the individual charts for confirmation. Then pick the ones that are going in the same direction and be sure to check several time frames, top down, as some being shown by basket writer may have already peaked high or low.

Sorry, but that's all I can say, if the basket writer or any other program could make it easy to pick baskets we would all be rich, but the best picker so far is the gray matter between the ears.

It looks like some, "Roger777" have been having good luck with the JPY7 basket, you may want to check out his posts for his settings, they seem to be working, he still does not let the robot do everything, he uses a combination of auto and manual. By trading the H4 time frame in this way the stress is less as you only need to check on what the robot is doing a couple times a day.

I may put together a video showing his method for those trying to get started.

Hi Seller9,

I created C5 H1,H4 offline chat in build 646 version, I realised that PA for H1 is 792.2840 and H4 is showing 300.0130 which PA is totally different among this two TF.
Am I created wrongly or this is normal?
Please advice.

Greeting to everyone here,

everything is working fine with 5-pair basket, but when I create 14-pair chart and try to load 14-pair template, mt4 is stalling and nothing happens...
Does anyone have the same problem? Or any ideas how to make 14-pair template work?

No worries, that is normal. Its do to the chart scaling of the different time frames.

I was not talking about compiling your code. In a simple google search you can find thousands of coders who are having the exact same problem with running their files on the new 646 MT4 platform. It's in mql4 forums, mql5 forums, everywhere.

I'm also trading JPY7 basket, but my basket ea is a bit old (v9), so my settings won't work for you. I'm trading it on M15 TF and I'm getting good daily profit. Only 1 loss, but it was news time, so it's totally my fault. So far so good!

Usually it would be a problem from your CPU. I've got multiple cores and it's still stalling sometimes, so just restart MT4 few times and the magic happens. Or - the easiest way - create your own template. Works for me.

version 21_646 is coded in build 646 from scratch so it does not have that problem.
The reason others have that problem is because they have not upgraded to pure 646 code and are using a mix of old and new, and they are also trying to use old DLLs that will not work. Just because it compiles under 646 doesn't mean it will work.

Rather than fix their code some have moved away from MT4 to other platforms.

My software is free, so if it doesn't work for you don't use it, as it cost you nothing.

i downloaded the latest build version from the post 1. But i dont find the usage guide. I am not sure how to use it. I tried to attach the ea to a chart. But it says no file found for usdjpy. There are 4 eas in the zip file. Which one to use. kindly provide me the usage guide. i checked the video and it does not show the steps to use ea. i posted the same request yesterday and i do not find that post now. hence i am posting again.

fboys you watch videos on youtube first. You need to spend some time unfortunately. I also thought at the beginning that soon will be. None of these things. Watch the videos and then set the EA. For most of the questions and problems is the answer in these videos. All the best.

I saw the videos. But the video is not clear. I cannot even see on which chart i should attach.

My question is simple. I find 4 eas in the zip file. Which one should i use and on which chart should i use it and on which currency? Should i attach it in offline chart or normal chart?

please refer to page one and follow the instructions might require you looking properly and watch videos on YouTube on via the link on page one, that is what most people including myself have done. All the instructions you will need are pretty much there
