 Our first update, many of you would have already received and email or seen the notice posted on our News Page (support.thinkforex.com)

We recently experienced a targeted Denial of Service outage on our primary Hong Kong data center starting at approximately 07:30 GMT. The outage was intermittent and now has been identified and resolved.
 If you experienced any negative account issues during this event please proceed to our Support News site at the link below for further instructions to submit an official account review with your trading logs and a full summary of how you were affected.

Hi gregosv,

Thanks for your questions. The web platform is by the nature of it fairly limited. It is a simple to use, basic platform which is good for when you are on the go. Obviously being a web platform, things like EAs cannot be used, but it still has good charting featuring a range of indicators. One good feature is also the wide range of languages available, but I'm not sure if that is of interest to you.

Obviously if you'd like a walkthrough of the platform, just give us a call and we'll be glad to help!

We will of course be looking to upgrade our webtrader just as we look to improve everything we offer. We will have an exciting update in the next week which will benefit everyone, but will also boost your ability to trade using a web based platform. More will of course be revealed in due course.

We offer CFDs on several index and commodity products through MT4, details here: http://www.thinkforex.com/forex-and-.../indices-table. Our new platform will be just FX when it launches with CFDs following in the next couple of months.

It's not MT5 is it? That will be a huge disappointment!

No, not MT5!

The platform is available both as a download and as a webtrader platform. The web version has basically all of the features of the download platform as well, so you will not miss out when you are on the go...

Well, that didn't take long!

Well done to Muzza, being the first to hit the nail on the head... As you have guessed, we are launching cTrader (and cAlgo) this week. We're excited to give this alternative platform to everyone, which only adds to the range we have available.

Personally, I am quite new to cTrader, but I like it. I've been an MT4 user both at broker level and from the client perspective for many years, and now having used cTrader I can see a number of differences. I'm sure there are some with the same love/hate relationship for cTrader just like MT4, but we're really excited about what this offers you all. We'll have a couple of webinars scheduled later this week to run through the benefits of the platform, so anyone interested is welcome to contact me directly for the details, and they'll be on our site shortly (http://www.thinkforex.com/education/weekly-webinars).
