Crowd-sharing model for open source algo trading platform

Hi,

First, if you:
are trading mostly using EAs and you like the idea to design your own EA yourself.
like to have an open source that you can build up logics easily
like the idea of having a platform that use FIX/APi for connection so you can link to any broker you want


So, this thread my interest you

I am an algo trader for many years. I have an idea to gather a number of people that have the same interest of having an open source of a powerful trading platform. When i looked into the trading platforms available right now i am always find something is missing. I am sure there are many on the same boat here.

So i got the idea why not developing a platform that fits my requirements from scratch. Surely, it will be huge project for just one person. So, i thought if i could find 10 people who have the same interest. We can all start this project on a crowd fund model.

It will be for:
1- Algo traders that have minimal or no programming knowledge
2- Algo traders that are familiar with excel
3- Algo traders that use EAs but they love to design their own systems by themselves.

The immediate advantages:
1- You will get the platform that suits you completely
2- It will be open source so you can build up logics as you wish
3- It will be coded in real programming language, C#, Java or C++ So it will provide high performance
4- On the long run, it will be cost effective

The crowd sharing model:
1- It will be fully transparent and fair
2- It will be run on a democratic voting basis
3- It will be open for suggestions from all

The proposed design for the platform:
1- It has to be coded in real time programming language
2- It will be broker neutral
3- It will be scalable
4- It will be flexible " Easy to add more modules and features"
