Of course the difficulty with this is that no one truly knows when the trend is changing. It takes a LONG time to slow down a fast-moving train. At least right now with my demo of this system, I'm opting to let the market take me out of the trades, meaning I am not interfering at all. Yes, I know there will be losses for a while when that turn is finally made, but my thought is I would likely guess wrong several times before finally getting the reversal correct, meaning I would lose money in that endeavor anyway. So I'm sitting tight and seeing what the market decides and will take my lumps when it does finally reverse.

Maybe you will disagree with me at this thing , but for me a trend is in retracement / reversal when in 2-3 days is not making a new high , like EUR/AUD does now . since 13:00 ( GMT + 2 ) on 11.06 wasn't a new high . by me is a retracement or a reversal .

to me it isn't .

20/50 EMA - much more positions - need more money to invest
3rd screen - max 10 positions at a time - not so much money to invest .

second opinion :

look at 100pips demo's 'return by trade' graphic

20/50 had and downs

EDIT : 3rd screen had , but small ones .

EDIT 2 : For some1 who don't have much money to invest , around 200-300 euro / $ , i personally would use 3rd screen IF that data is true and 100pips didn't interfere manually !!!

A 2-3 day change in direction is certainly a retracement, but we won't know if it is a new trend until much later.

A trend is easy to see. Bring a child to your zoomed-out chart and ask them, are the lines going up or down?

Do not over-complicate it.

I apologize in advance for being real pain, but when you say 3rd Screen EA, is it the one on the first post on the Third Screen thread ??

The reason for such stupid question is the fact that I haven't read that thread at all while demoing this strategy, but after reading your comments above, I am keen to set up a demo this weekend and see how it does. Not being rich yet, your comments above surely make me keen to try it out.

Make sure you download the .pdf , there are instructions ... if you are too lazy to read the statement 100pips wrote

EDIT : No one is a real pain . Nobody was born perfect . 1 week ago i didn't know how to install the EA :| ( need to set 'true' on EA 'Input' instead of false which is default )

Hello everyone. I currently have GBPUSD, EURAUD, EURUSD, NZDUSD, and NZDJPY set and running under the SL & TP parameters set by 100pipsaday! They are obviously running on both 1 hour and daily charts for each currency pair. Results are positive so far. Will keep you all posted!
