I have been running the EA for 3 days now...4 pairs......hasn't opened any trades at all...smiley face is ON with chart....am I missing something here?
Im testing some other setups so i set up a another instance 2 days ago with

TP 40 pips

SL 60 pips

NO Trailing stop.

Checking the BUY trade at the moment, that was opened today:

The TP was set correct + 40 pips (yellow circle)

but the SL was set to - 172 pips instead of - 60. (red circle, where SL should be)

See the picture.. (THe Chart is scaled to M15 for better viewing..)
At thats not the one and only case as i noticed.. reviewing other trades with this setup..

you must also activate the EA in the settings window "activate EA" set to true (where you set SL, TP and other parameters). One of the first lines, Then the line on the screen should turn green EA Enable instead of red.

I like your global TP and SL idea. Do you execute it manually or by EA? If by EA do you mind share it here?

I just reviewed the last 5 closed EUR/AUD trades.

The first 2 Trades (pink circle) were set with wrong SL (- 138 & -145 pips)

Next 3 Trades (green circle) were set correct +40/-60 pips TP SL

and now,

the last, still active Buy is set again with wrong SL.. (-172 instead of -60 pips)

Someone a opinion what could be wrong. Or are im the only one with this..

(or noticed it..)

Sorry for not writing more and soon, but after testing my 75pip trailing profit instead of set profit I can say that it is a good way of locking profilts once the pair has moved, but on other hand, hard stop of 300 has been giving me worries and panics when multiple positions on single pairs start going negative and lead to 600pips negative

Not sure how to look after this worry, but I might try with the original setting of 160pip stop loss from tonight onward and see how that works out.

So far the system has been in green, and profitable in last 17 trading days.

Though I would love to have those results which 100pips has with this 'third screen strategy' explorer

Thank you 100pipsaday and Khaled for sharing such an amazing simple strategy for huge profits. It took me two days to read the whole thread viewing every single conversation exchange. Seeing your strategy and testing it manually really made me reflect the failures in mine, which was too sensitive and too loose to accumulate profitability and have longevity. Shoot, I didn't rely on any form of oscillators just pure price action. Mine consisted of placing buy/sell limits at 50% of the closed latter daily candle in the direction of the trend, which was determined by the deviation of the high and low of the 2-3 previous candlesticks. Pretty much I let the price lead the way, and catch it when its makes a ripple back. However consolidations, quick reversals, and other price action scenarios quickly made this methodology unsustainable.

Now that I see a trend and oscillation combination that works, that really makes me wonder what combinations have potential? I picked up an EA programming book, so I can hopefully catch up to Mr. Khaled and many other EA programmers here.

I do have a question for you 100pipsaday. In one of the books I have read, I believe it was the Market Wizards. One professional trader discussed why a trading strategy should be kept secret, because if public and everyone starts using it the potential of its longevity/consistency to be a profitable trading strategy decreases over time. It doesn't seem like you didn't believe in this philosophy. Why? This philosophy has always puzzled me. Maybe not just 100pipsaday, but what does the few who share their strategies think about this philosophy?

Just change "ManageAllTrades" to True, "GlobalOrderClosure" to 6500 pips and "ShiftProtection" to - the amount in dollars lost for 6500 pips (depending on your lot size, in my case -450.-$ for 0.01 lots).
And let me ask something other. In case i missed it, sorry.

Why are there such one CHF Pair (CHF/JPY) ?

Did they indicated poor results in Backtesting or because of the correlation?

Till now i play with the Pairs from SL TP Post 204 (19 of them) but as example €/Aud isnt in the List there.

Watch out EUR & GBP / AUD & NZD pairs .

Couldn't make another high yesterday and today .

Retracement / reversal ... who knows ...

EDIT: In the beginnig I would disable EA every once in a while, but I stopped that a while ago. No more intervention now.

Those are amazing results my friends... I am tempted to start one more explorer with third screen EAs. I've not given it a go so far.

Hi Pirt - thanks for being so kind mate.

Tell me, do you trade all 20+ pairs recommended? Or have you removed/added any?
