Sorry if I am insisting and I am slow to understand, but I am a stubborn lady and I have no rest until I get the picture clearly!

LOL... It's no problem. That is why we are all here.

In this particular shot we are discussing the EUR/USD. As you know I did not take that trade because I chickened out .

This is what would have happened had I taken that trade.

Long @ 1.30920 Initial SL 1.29920

The arrow is pointing at a candle with high of 1.3120 which was only 28 pips. The next tag shows were 30 pips was reached. But after that candle, which had a high of 1.31853 which is over 90 pips. So at the close of that candle I would have had a +9 secured.

Thank you ILZ. Sorry, I do not trade currencies and I could not check better: from the first picture I had thought that 30 pips had been reached in the candle where the arrow is, and the trade stopped at the next candle. Thank you for the detailed explanation.

Hey ash,

So according to your supertrend, you should HAVE NOT TAKEN THAT TRADE. Supertrend was NOT RED.

Remember. For a SHORT,

1- price needs to CLOSE UNDER 200 SMA

2- Supertrend NEEDS TO BE RED

3- Price needs to CLOSE UNDER RED SUPERTREND

Thanks for pointing out , I thought price only has to close below the supertrend .

So for shorts it must close below 200sma and price must close below supertrend and supertrend must be RED

for longs price must be above 200sma and price must close above supertrend and supertrend must be BLUE

ONE MORE ? if long does supertrend have to be above the 200sma or it doesnt matter

& if going short does supertrend have to be below the 200sma or it doesnt matter

Hey Bomi , yeah according to me 4hr candle must close, but as Ilzalama said you got the right idea .

The supertrend DOES NOT HAVE TO BE above/below the 200 SMA in order for the trade to be verified.

Thanks for the reply. Seeing your trades I feel that besides your all regular conditions, you also considering 200 MA curve, distance between R & S lines and colour of MACD,STR & EMA. Am I right?

I still dont understand how you make use of your signal bar v3 indicator , have you noticed if you create a profile of several pairs and have signal bar indicator on all the pair templates it freezes mt4

I have gone back in your post, I take my words back, price is doing lower highs ,so not exactly sideways , but more like its coiling to go up! So well done ,i should have taken then eur jpy and gbp jpy .
