DislikedI realize, many of us now just know how to trade QM. Man, I am just a slow learner.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I watched the same setup but my symmetry was different than yours. It almost reached my entry level and no LTF PA anyway so i missed it. I guess you put your order where it is because of the QM inside the gray zone you marked? And the SL i agree it should be under your red rectangle. i think it could also have been under my red rectangle if there was an LTF PA? {image} Also another one from EJ but it happened right at market open at mid night. I would have waited for the middle red FL to be FOed, but it didnt, also there was...

Disliked{quote} I waited at that MPL. But i waited for 1 more confirmation (i dont know if i should have touch traded that or not). Did you take this one? {image}Ignored
DislikedTT(touch-trades) can create a lot of confusion. If you have a monthly LS/FL to touch from, you wouldn't TT the monthly chart. In fact, you shouldn't expect more than a simple bounce at each of these levels unless they are some sort of MPLs. What you should expect is, on the monthly chart to touch some H4 or even h1 levels, and your first target will be at your first h4/h1 level. Should you take your first target here? It depends. If the price goes quickly through your h1 target you should let it run until the PA goes against you. If price just bounces...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi beefstew, don't know if this helps but this I think is what happened. We engulfed the yellow ftr up so we look for a retrace back to where decision was made, which is the kink of a FL or FTR. Now in this case price bounced from the white kink box, but sometimes we may get a small fake out below that box before price goes up. In this case it didn't. The point here is that the white box is where we should ideally look for a trade. And if you miss the entry there is another chance at the green box. My thoughts. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks mate, Your chart definitely helped. That makes a lot more questions though. There usually is a few fresh DPs inside the interest zone, and in cases like this you wouldnt get filled waiting for confirmation. How do i figure out which one to be touch traded. Also like you said the white kink box could be FOed so the only way is to wait for confirmation. I can of course shrug these kind of setups as missed and wait for other ones which actually give confirmationIgnored
Disliked{quote} But we need also check the penultimate FL/FTR that was engulfed to see if price retraced back to its DP before moving on. If the answer is no, and these two DPs are close, then we can expect price to FO beyond our DP of interest to the previous DP. {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} Slow or fast, does it matter though, as long as you are a learner. Im slow too but better than doing nothing at all, i guess?Ignored
