Quoting howtotradeforexDislikedRob is a class act. He stole the show at the Las Vegas Forex Expo. I've just started his one on one online training and so far-so good. He answers your emails personally and quick. He's highly qualified to teach what he teaches and he enjoys doing it. He also mixes a little humor in with his teachings which really makes him feel like a friend whose nose is not in the air.
I swear under oath that I was not compensated for this post and that no woodchucks nor possums were harmed as a result of this post.Ignored
Quoting newbieforexerDislikedFor those of you that have worked with Rob before...
Would you recommend the 1 on 1 training that is cheaper and conducted via internet, or would you recommend the 2-day live training which is more expensive?
I have been reading about the Forex market for several months now, with a few books under my belt and feel pretty comfortable with the basics...just wanted to see how others felt...

Quoting MrWhippleDislikedThe two years in Italy looks like a dead give away.Ignored
Quoting merlinDislikedman if rob got to do his mission in italy he is one lucky dude...Ignored
Quoting MrWhippleDislikedI agree, but it is a tough gig. Not much time for sight seeing and it's hands off the cute chickies. Almost everyone is Catholic and doesn't want to listen and if they do thier family jumps in with booth front feet.Ignored
Quoting djfxDislikedI would recommend both if possible. The 1-on-1 is more comphrehensive and will teach you how to get from where ever you are now to where you need to be to trade successfully (consistent positive pips).
However, watching Rob and his trading partner Max trade in real time in the Live Training was worth the price of the seminar alone. Also there are many intangibles gained from the Live Training that just can't be communicated over the internet. And the chance to meet and exchange ideas and work with other traders is incredibly valuable.
As to Rob's religous affiliation: He is Mormon. I think he prefers to be low key about that. I would speculate that 1) if a student is Mormon also he doesn't want a religous element to cloud his instruction (such as "I go to Church every Sunday, why doesn't God give me pips?") 2) he doesn't want to trigger any preconcieved notions about Mormons that would hamper his ability to instruct very diverse students from all over the world ("Do Mormons really have horns?") 3) He is very unassuming and down to earth and discussing religon in the context of trading doesn't work well.
I appreciate Merlin's and Mr. Whipples comments on missionary service. I served 2 years in Thailand more years ago that I want to admit. But I enjoyed it immensely and I appreciated the chance to serve others.
If I can be of any help please feel free to email me at djfx..at..horsescare..dot..com (no robots please!).Ignored

Quoting MrWhippleDislikedI served in Kentucky and Tennessee and had to go to the LTM to learn Southren I also learned Thai thanks to the US Army and the NSA, but never got to go there. If I make enough money in Forex I plan to take MrsWhipple to Thailand for a vacation some day.Ignored
