DislikedRJ, I would never question your ability to design a comprehensive strategy. I find the biggest problem, is when waking each morning, what kind of market we will have "today". Scouring H4 & H1, for potential setups. I couldn't possibly imagine being able to assess in advance that, the market was suitable for M1 scalping. Re markets that, as you said, bounce around, all I do is trade with my HTF stoch. Just putting the thought out there, that, if anyone wishes to follow, M1 trading takes a huge amount of discipline to trade, as signals come and...Ignored
When I get up and see Tokyo open, I too don't know what will happen on that day.....but if I trade with the trend, then I will be fine. If the trend changes at that moment, my small SL will get hit......as it would on the M5 just the same!! I will either 'buy the dips' or 'sell the rallies' depending on the trend, and that doesn't really change no matter what TF is employed.
Scalping, generally speaking, (as far as I know) is taking a few pips *regardless* of any trend. That's not what I'm saying.....I always will go with the trend so I don't really see a problem......yet....but it's only day 1 of 20
