I use the normal semaphor and for me works good. I like to see a H - L - LH double top formation with the numbers for shors and L - H - HL double top formation for longs.

In conjunction with a clear fail at pivot point, S/R lvl or round number + TMA Extreme rules before pull the trigger.

I trade m5 - m15 but also get a sense of what others time frames are doing.

I'll star post some live trades next week.

Hey guys I was here b4 and now I am back hopefully for a while. Anyways I was just curious, why do we use the ha candles? I mean the system doesn't say anything about the ha candles. Is it just there for us so we don't chicken out before it reaches the other side of tma or is there something else?

It is in the Entering Trade and Trade Exits area on Page 1 maby elsewhere in the thread also. Search Heiken Ashi or HA

I don't know how I missed that. Although usually the candles is the right color when you get the signal. Also it looks like crude might be shaping up for a very nice signal either towards the ny close or ext week.

Theh You have Great probability PA will go down towards the red4 min.You have the whole cycle.Points 1,2,3 are intermediate HI-LO(Max-Min for M5,M15).
Try another great Russian indi MZZ9 fibo,it shows fibo channels differnt TF from
M1 till MN.

Harry, Thank you very much for the new indi. I'll study it. Also thank you for your explanation. But semafor 3 does the same thing. It shows a cycle from 3 to 3 in 3 waves. I can see 4 waves is more profitable than 3 but takes much longer time to complete a cycle. May be that's the trade-off. Frank

You're absolutely correct. Semafor indi almost does the same thing as spike indi.
It does repaint. When there is a nearby new HH or LL this indi repaints.

TMA system tries to trade the swing highs and swing lows. It's impossible to pick the exact high or low every time. We're definitely going to make mistakes. That's why Al introduced recovery method to deal with the mistakes. But there're still people like to trade with stop losses. Semafor is just one of the methods trying to do that. It's not a final product, but with my limited experience I found it does help to maximize the profit.

The method you mentioned I'm sure should work also. I'm just suggesting an alternative. Frank

I just used the THV indi Al provided on page 1.

Is this a valid setup to go for long? A valid setup for rule 1, 3 and 4 but not rule no 2. Am i too late going in now? TMA slope is indicating BUY only. Or do i have to wait for the HA to cross from the bottom band direction to the top to enter a long position?

Of course it does! It is even worse than the spike indicator IMHO, at least the spike indicator has those grey dots that show the repainting in the past.

Euro/London open is a good choice through to NY. Lots of opportunities if you are patient. TMA method works in any session.

Nothing is for sure..... all the rules and indicators were lined up for a Short (slope kept on repainting though) about 9 hrs ago...GBPJPY & GBPUSD.... except the trend was still up...

Price was playing way outside the 4HR band..... for sure it was going to come back down soon...

But the Shorts cost me dearly...... my system went off line before I could enter SL's just before leaving for work this morning...... but I thought it was OK.

But I was over confident....Tonight, coming home, I was in for a shock seeing my 'balance' (or what change is left!) ...... never too old to learn I guess??

My 2 best buddies now...... SL and Trend..!

Your comments welcome ..... any reasons I can learn from ....why I should not have taken the trades.
