FXDD Malta no conection on and off for hours?

Hi, I noticed that one person mentioned that FXDD Malta has been offline for several hours quite a while ago. I have had the pleasure of no email the other day, and intermittent mobile/cell service the last couple of days, so it just seemed like another technical glitch. I have had the occasional connection, but it just drops in and out that much that I either have to put the computer on mute to stop the anoying sounds, or shut the MT4 program off, but there doesn't seem to be anything else here when I do a search? Can't be just 2 of us having issues? My MT4 program for another broker is working fine all day, not one drop out.

I contacted FXDD live chat, and apparently there was one small something, I couldn't understand the sentence, and it is all ok now, I am just to close the platform and reopen. I have closed, reopened used 3 different computers for 12 hours now. My other MT4 broker just ticks on not missing a beat.

Anyone else with issues, or is the FXDD live chat right and the problem is just me?????

I used the fxdd live chat after waiting hours for my post to show up here on forexfactory. I don't usually trade after 2:00pm est so it really didnt effect my trading. Talked to a guy named alex s and he said that everybody was experiencing no connection and he had no idea on when it would be restored(this was around 5:00pm est on dec 12). Oh well what can u do, this whole "cash forex" is rigged as far as i'm concerned. Don't believe me, if u trade long enough u will experience it yrself! From requotes in a seemingly quiet market or terrible entry price in a fast moving market. To my take profit not getting filled even when the price had hit it dead on and surpassed it making me have to manually exit the trade. I also feel that my data feed was compromised at least 1 time. Don't have a screen shot to prove it but i'm not incompetent. When I enter a trade there has to be a certain setup that i'm looking for and when i see that setup, I will enter the trade. So after losing on this trade and not thinking much of it at the time, just a normal lose I continued on trading for that day for another couple of hours. When I finished I turned off my computer. Later on that same day I want back on my computer to analyze my trades for the day and thats when i noticed the discrepancy. No way in hell the way the chart looked the second time looking at it would i have entered that trade, made nosense. All in all thats why i'm trading in the forex "futures" market now and only trade 1$ a pip on the "cash forex" because its to shaddy to risk anymore.

Interesting that your chat was a different answer to mine, I was totaly put down that I should close the program and open it...derrrrr...I hadn't tried that?? I tried several computers over several hours and my other fx broker didn't miss a beat for once!

They do think we can be fobbed off with crap, and I totally agree with you regarding manipulation and false data. I was introduced to forex by a friend that traded big time and told a few hairy stories about having to ring the broker and threaten them to get manipuated trades fixed.

So I do take the whole thing with a grain of salt, and I find it amazing that we can get these feeds pretty much immediately to 5 decimal places, and often we can make a few bucks, but I do have a high expectation that they are not on my side. Whether that is far or not, it is reality and I have only put in an amount to tinker with, I luckily have a regular job that pays the real bills.

I do hope that one day there will be a broker that is genuine and can supply a product I feel is not having a go at me, but until I find one that can actually tell me when my deposit will be credited to my trading account, then what follows is a bit hit and miss. How can it take half an hour to credit one day and two days the following time, and they hide behind their "flexible" terms and conditions. Just check your computer hourly and credit deposits at regular intervals, is that so hard?

Doubt you will. You should really try "forex futures" instead. Cost a little more to open an account but your money is alot more safe and everybody see's the same price as you do, unlike cash forex which is unregulated and people are looking at different price all over the place. Ever look at the 4 hour chart on different servers that close their candles at different times? Haha it's so unbeilevable the crap that these places get away with. My advice trade small or go forex futures. Daytrading is stressful enough at times, save yrself from the added stress of having to worry about yr broker playing games with you. Good luck to ya.

Just for yr information, wasn't trying to bash FXDD exculsively. The problems I had encounter were over a very long period of time and I feel FXDD is as honest as any broker you can trade with at the moment and I still trade with them. Sometimes the price gets within a few pips of yr take profit and it never touches, can't always blame the broker for that!
