I know there are several threads about FXDD, but this broker has changed through time. Few years ago, it was a US broker, then moved to Europe, a few months ago it was bought by FXCM.

It is a little bit confusing to understand which state of FXDD is referred in a review.

I just opened an account with FXDD Malta, as they offer a wide range of instruments with good specifications. During the opening process, I emailed them, and they replied me with a template-based email. They even did not read my message properly. I though that their support is bad, but maybe good brokerage service. I tried to fund my account by credit card, but the online form was strange.

Then, I became suspicious if it is a decent broker. Any experience what is the current status of FXDD Malta? a reliable broker?

I am surprised to read that FXDD was bought by FXCM. I have an acc with them and they drove my balance to negative in the SNB event, after asking them to credit my balance to 0 they replied saying that there was nothing they could do about it despite being a no negative balance with us kind of broker. I have not heard from them since and if they belong to FXCM I expect them to do as FXCM did with retail negative balances... I find that the delay in doing so is a bit suspicious.

FXCM bought FXDD US clients. FXDD Malta is a seperate company that has nothing to do with FXCM.

To the OP you do know this is your 20th thread in the broker section that you have started. You would have thought that after so many you would have choosen a better broker!

I have been with FXDD Malta since May, 2009. Their customer service is very ok. I even have a dedicated staff to attend to all my issues. I used to call and email him then whenever I had any issue (mostly delay in fund transfer) and he was always available. When he was changed, they email me to inform me and they attached another personnel to me. Although I have not had any cause to reach him yet. My fund withdrawals used to take about 3 working days as at then, but it takes an average of 5 working days now. But I have never have any issue with withdrawal. I fund my account through bank wire, I also do not have any issue with that, except in cases when I wanted my account credited faster. But at the end, my account normally gets credited within 3 working days. They have changed banks a couple of times and I wrote to them expressing my worries about the frequent change of banks. They replied and calm me down saying the changes are geared toward providing clients with better banking services. The last time they changed banks was, I think, 2012 or 2013. I have read couple of negative comments about FXDD Malta, and honestly I do not share in any of those since I started my relationship with them. I wish you the best in your trading career. Cheers

I have at least 10 active accounts with different brokers. What is strange with looking for new brokers? What is wrong with starting threads and asking other people's experiences? Isn't it the purpose of this forum?

In this insecure market, if you wish to put all your capital in one broker, then, go on and live in your dreamy world on the clouds. It is not a month that several major brokers went bankrupt within a few minutes.

FXDD Malta, very hesitant about negative balances, at some point their sales dp has mailed confirming zero balance by the end of the trading day, but they do not commit and balance remains negative and continues to mail negative monthly statements. They assured traders with their "no negative balance with us" marketing catch. This only speaks for a very faulty business model and I can only warn people about Forex Trading to stay as far as possible from doing so... make money else were. Give it some thought, all these brokers are totally irresponsible. and have a cynical attitude towards you and your funds.
