Can you tell me what your settings are on your indicators? I downloaded them to MT4, but my charts are not looking anything like yours (re: synergy bars and alerts).

Looks like a good system; want to backtest.

Hi Xman,

Thanks for sharing your systems.

Regarding the Template you look for: you must save it in C:/WINDOWS/USER/PUBLIC/PUBLIC IMAGES otherwise you won't find it searching your MT4 folders in windows explorer....

I've some questions about the systems.

1H system:
1) Must we set our vertical lines at 6 & 12 GMT, regardless of broker time?
2) How do you set SL & TP once you get a signal?

4H system:
1) Must we trade only the bottom of ascending 4H channel and the top of descending ones? Or can we trade both the extremes of a 4H Channel?
2) In the first case, must the 4H channel be in the same direction of D1 channel?
3) We trade these points also if PA is far from 60 EMA? (i.e. we go long @ the bottom of ascending channel also if 60 ema is above the price & going down?)
4) Could you post some example charts with your entries marked with clear vertical lines?

I think that you mean your TP can be 1:1 or 1:2 or 1:3 - usually it is read as Risk:Reward -- don't want to risk more than the reward, right? Or am I missing something here?

Hi X-Man!

I have taken interest in your H4 trading methodology. Its simple and easy and I have done back testing for a number of pairs. But I have a query.

Does your SHI channel changes from downtrend to uptrend channel as the PA moves? Under what condition will the SHI channel changes and reverse? Reason being, I can only see the downtrend SHI channel for my AU, EU and GU H4 pair. Please kindly advice =)

of confusion for me . In your statement below - what is the second vertical line you refer to ? NY session ? You also stated that if no signal
appears until 3 rd bar you pass on trading that session . Does this mean
you wait until NY opens assuming you saw no trades at London open ?
If I understand you correctly the session openings are the whole basis of
your trades . Should TDI cross say 3hrs after London open you don`t
trade it ? Please correct me if I have this wrong .




This is mostly the case for the first vertical line, the direction mostly starts 1 candle after the first vertical line
the second vertical line the trade mostly happens on the vertical line. With experience and back testing i have noticed this.
Another reason why i wouldnt enter on the first blue candle is that when you draw you fibb retracement levels from high to the low on the 1H chart you will notice that PA went to 38% and then came back down.
That small blue candle was when PA was bouncing off the 0% level and going down so even before the bounce on TDI i expected PA to go down

Can you post your template? Really? I don't mean to be an ass, but if you can't set up a chart with 4 measly indicators, you should really look at another way of making money. X-Man has taken his time to set up this thread, given you the indicators that he uses, posted charts of what your chart should look like, given you the simple rules to enter a trade, does he have to place the trade for you as well?

Sorry but I don't quite get the meaning of this. Do you somehow put the Daily TF onto the 4H chart? I don't know how to do this. Or do you run 2 screens side by side - one = D. & one= 4H. Anyone feel free to pop in with an answer. thanks, p.

He sets the sonic channel on daily TF then trades off the 4h

Hey Piprac:

I think what he is meaning is that he sets his sonic shi channels to show daily channel while looking at his 4 hour charts. That's the neat thing about that particular indicator that you can set it to show say daily shi channels even if your are looking at the 1minute charts. Hope this helps man.

What you need to do is go to "visualization" tab on your SHI channel indicator, and uncheck "show all" and check "daily".
Then when you go to your 4H timeframe, you will have to zoom out to find the channel -- it is there, then zoom in to trade. This gives an idea of the pa.
