Weigh well output the loss and gain And proper action ascertain
Dislikedyes, so that is the safest way to trade, for a buy we want to take out some sellers to leave a clearer path so we fill them sellers and then move up get a green candle momentum then pushes it up.
Im worried people are now going to be trading every BO of all green MTF lining up etc without also looking at price action
Dont forget Udine and I been trading this way, before this thread was created.
Also i didnt hve the arrows either. So you also got to ask yourself can you trade this without the arrows?Ignored
Dislikeddean i am saying exactly the same thing. please check my screen shot.
there was no arrow because if you check the code :
if(mLineUp == 6 && PriormLineUp != 6 && RmUp > RmLmt && atr1 > atr2)
it only checks the m15 HA. in this trade 4hr HA was the last one to turned from red to green. it was not the safest trade i agree. but its according to the rules. becase rules dont say 15 minute HA should be the last one that turns from red to green.Ignored
DislikedLike I said, direct coding questions to me since I did the indicator. I put it on my 4 digit broker and the 5 and I do not get arrows on the 4 digit broker, so need to figure that out too. And yes I am working on a historical indicator to show past entries however, I am seeing the H4 HA change on the previous bar after the fact so maybe that's the issue. Just follow the rules people; the indicator is supposed to help, not make your decisions for you. I will try to make it better.Ignored
DislikedI don't want to trade out of your rules. The problem is (as Udine said), with different brokers we can or we cannot have arrows. With MTF indicators, I saw the barcount in history of the charts is a factor too...
So, I'm waiting for Udine's final word
Resuming: Trade the first candle all signals aggree, or trade only when (in our charts) the arrow appears?Ignored
DislikedSome posts before Udine said: when we have a signal, and M15 turns opposite, the signal is invalid... We must wait for a new signal barIgnored
DislikedUdine said it....
and the truth is some people has arrow and other not.... why?Ignored
Dislikedinfact, im going to say theres nothing wrong taking a signal bar that is not fresh after a pullback, if it brings you results excellent.
Just for my personality and trading style, i like the fresh candle after some sort of pullback small or large doesnt matter, as long as my signal comes straight after a opposite 15min ha then i know fresh momentum awaitsIgnored
DislikedInvictus,
Just read through your thread, many thanks for sharing your system!
I too am in sales, and fed up with the rat race, hopefully you have found a way out.
For my own confidence, it would be great if Ericjschroed could code an indy to show past arrows, I could then do a visual backtest.
BTW - I am not doubting the system, its just that I am limited to sitting in front of my computer due to work commitments.
Thanks againIgnored
DislikedSo, we can trade also if arrow doesn't appears and other signals aggree, or we must wait a pullback red(for long) as Deankenny said?Ignored
Dislikedthis is what i mean, check earlier on this chart, i put 2 vertical red lines, inbetween those red lines look for how long and how many times all MTF was red, would you really take that many trades? this is why i wait for a green small or big whatever first then the red to confirm with all mtf.Ignored
DislikedFirst of all thanks for sharing this system!
I took the trade a little late but I made 20 pips
There was no arrow in my chart.

Ottimo lavoro Udine, continua cosė!!Ignored
Disliked[size=2]I only trade the EU & GU as they give me all I need.
I get between 3 - 5 possible trade setups per pair per day. which means 6 - 10 possible trades per day. This is perfect for me as due to my workload I miss several of them during the day.
I trade from 08:00 - 18:00 CET (07:00 - 17:00 GMT) Frankfurt open until London close. This is wintertime in Europe, so no point in discussing trading hours. If you cannot figure this one out....
I will show a complete chart here, but it is a demo account. I have during my demo period let several...Ignored
