DislikedYesterday I wanted to share my opinion of why a GBP CPI of 5.2% (0.7% higher than the last release) would not be bullish... And now I wake up, I see the PPI (0.8% higher than the last release), which will help my explanation.
In the currency markets, normally, Higher inflation means Higher interest rate. But the problem here is that we are having both high inflation and weak economies.
Not a good couple :S Prices are higher and that can continue to hurt the economy.
