That is for version 3.0.1. As I state 4.4h is more advandced stable and more accurate. I have not used Symphonie 60-5 in a long time. I have stated with 4.4h in one timeframe. But as I stated I do consult higher timeframes (habit).

Entered the trade today with Eur/Usd in H4 at 1.3320 and has set a target of 1.3445 and looking for a +120 pips trade.

What's your take on this, is Eur/Usd bullish enough to reach the target of 1.3445.:nerd:

OK...here is where pattern recognition pays off. (see post#1 for references) Price action for 18 hours did not drop below 1.32400 and created a narrow consolidation range. Because of pattern recognition I know this means a continuation pattern and the price aktion should rise again. I call it a step pattern because it looks like a step on stairs.

Therefore, I did not look at any Symphonie signal that told me to sell. I only took the buy ones. of the 5 Signals the first Buy was not filled and dropped. The second Buy was filled and ALMOST hit my stoploss. Then came the final Buy breaking out of the narrow consolidaiton pattern. I was not at my desk and missed it..... But I was in the last Buy and guess what....Symphonie called it perfekt. I am up 80 pips on todays order plus I still have ma 1.30575 buy order open from yesterday.....

Symphonie....as easy as Plug and Play...!

So glad to meet someone very kindness and energetic like you, I'm the new learner here and i've some question after i've read your post#15832 about your opinion to make a pyramid position.

I can add another position when my old position will not cause negative impact, says as all position set at BE. The question is
1. When to add another position?
I've two funny idea here.
1.1 After old position get BE and all symphonie matrix still all same color and the second order follow the same rules as order one.
1.2 After old position get BE and some indicator in matrix change to another color then change to the same way as old position stand for.
(In 1.2 or better i close the order one since indicator in matrix, may be 'trendline', change to another color?)
Which either or neither one you recommend for us to use in this system?

2. Where the stop loss of the second position you'll place for ?
After first position got BE+1
The second order have set at some order stop. The stop loss will be...
2.1 50 pips in m5, 75 in m15 and so on... ?
2.2 the BE level of the last one?

And the last question, Let assume the luck is with us and the second order has unrealized profit for +30 pips and then we set the second order to BE.
In your opinion, should i set the stop loss of the first order to the second order BE or just follow the exit strategy as post#1?

Don't get greedy....if this reverses prepare to exit with your profit. Remember you will always leave some pips on the table that is the nature of trading. Also, if you have a good order that is secure though dynmamic stoploss then let it run!!!!! Don't be afraid of gambling alittle with your profit on a positive order...

The markt will signal when it is ready to turn and Symphonie will be there to tell you the turns...just follow the Symphonie System and you should be fine....but BEWARE.....FEAR and GREED will come to you and you must resist them....they are trader worse enemy.

Symphonie is not designed to be a top or bottom picking...it is design to keep on out of whipsaws and with the trend and trends do not change perfektly they are always bumpy so you will never exit at the exact top or bottom you will always miss them. (see post#1 diagram) But that is old....the whole point of Symphonie is to catch the trends and ride it ALWAYS trying to stay in profit.

Symphonie Indikator will NOT be right all the time and that is where the other components of Symphonie Trader System come into focus...how to manage winning and loosing trades while maintaining a steady growth program that will only grow your account balance not take away from it.

I encourage you the download my Symphonie Growth Schedule (again post#1) and look to meet those goals each week...It is not hard... maintaining a 5% risk and look to make ONLY 10 pips a day...or 50 pips a week....YES that is what I said...the growth plan calls for....10 pips a day!!! But look at the schedule and how the power of ratios can really grow your account by week 50 or week 104 (2 years) It is the low stress path to success (slow steady growth too )

Greedy means you are gambling and the house is stack against you and becareful to take only gambles where odds are heavy with you....

Thanks for the reply and I was not falling to greed I was just predicting it.

As, The Symphonie matrix was still bullish and Tma slope was having a value around 1.01 that's why I thought that there must be enough bullish move left but unfortunately I see it reversing and Tma value dropped below 0.80 at H1 therefore I closed my trade with +40 pips.

That's it for the week had a good +380 pips for this week by risking only 5% of my account, feels great
and gain around 38% for this week.

The post you reference is in regard to ARS and when you have free ARS points to use in orders. Once you have a order in positive and protected pips then those ARS points are free to use again. This way you will always have a limited amount of orders at risk per your ARS number and you can survive a loss order.

Always protect orders before making a new one that is the principle behind the Symphonie Process.

For your second part on where to put stoploss please consult post#1 and dynamaic stoploss and exit strategy conditions all the answers you seek are in post#1.

You last question....see post#1 it is all there...I promise.

Just a word of advise......

Do not mix Symphonie with other indikators as your signal or it will throw off Symphonie performance...Trade the way you wish but when you throw other indikators into the mix then you are no longer trading the Symphonie Trader System method.

If you are still doubt Symphonie demo trade strict Symphonie rules to get off your crutch of other indikators....it is a hard habit to break but a necessary one. Symphonie is meant to be a stand alone strategy and adding other indikators will make you hesitate when you should be take action or it will cause you to act when Symphonie say not to act..... In other words you will have confliction with the other indikators and you will confuse easy.

Just to follow up as I said from my at the end of 2012

I am starting my new account from 2012 with 10% of its balance and since I have spend all of the rest on tax and fun I better get busy

To poke alittle fun as some posters who do not believe Symphonie performance...here is week 1 of trading in 2013 this is REAL MONEY!!!....(one time post do not look for any more)

Not bad for 1 week....added 20% to my 2013 account making over 500 pips this week.

IT CAN BE DONE....just follow the Strategy and make sure you keep to the rules to protect your account....that is the whole strategy...PROTECT you balance and keep it growing.

This may be a bit of a personal question, and let me know if I am crossing the line, but do you only trade the symphonie method, or do you trade other methods also??

I say that because I am a Fibs and trend line type kind guy, and these indicators have proven to me that indicators can work and a heapps easier with your setup lol

But it seems that you have reduced the factor of risk, as your taking around 20 pips for 1% profit.

And, reducing risk is the key to success in FX.

Never trust a stoploss over a weekend....If you are in profit on Friday close it out and start the next week fresh....Stoplosses will NOT protect you in a opening gap situation....it WILL burn you and you will loose pips!!!!

For example, I have an order last Nov 2012 and it was 45 pips in profit on a Friday. I put a 10 pip stoploss to protect order over weekend but an event happen that cause the markt to gap open 67 pips away and no only did I loose my profit I lost 20 pips because brokers will close the order at markt open which was 20 pips against me!!! B E W A R E !!!!

Sorry for this question, i have not noticed the answer....my fault..


And so, about results that i achieved this week. I was trading only EUR/USD (because it is difficult for me to spread my attention for more than two currency pairs, it will blow my mind), 5M timeframe, and results are impressive +238 pips
Now i should analyze my mistakes and correct them in future trading....

Everyone,

Enjoyed this week with the bullish nature of Eur/Usd but it seems that the bullish move of Eur/Usd will come to end soon as we are getting a bearish butterfly pattern on H4 chart and Eur/Usd can reverse from 161.8 level i.e is around 1.3455-1.3485 range for a bearish move. If the Eur/Usd pair passes the 161.8 level then it will continue it's bullish move and then the bearish butterfly pattern will be terminated.
