DislikedThanks for your reply Evaluator. I have many years of experience in trading but generally I trade longer timeframes (indices mainly but also the main forex pairs). Because I have started to look at smaller timeframes with (part)-automated setup and is how I came across this thread....
From having read many posts and having Symphonie running on a few instruments over the last couple of weeks, it's obvious that the strategy has some merit (mainly its simplicity and ease of understanding) and can/should be profitable in the right hands with decent...Ignored
I trade in the 60 min timeframe but I use 5 min for my entry level. (see post #9774) As it is normal to have some pullback at the time of a Symphonie Signal and by using the larger timeframe of 60 min one has direction of overall trend and then you enter in the 5 min that gives you the time the retracement is complete on the 60 min. Signal.
It eliminates many of the repaint issues because 60 min is many stable timeframe to trade from. Also, I look for trendline breaks as well for added confirmation.
