If anyone wants a good priced excellent VPS to run multiple MT4 and EA's on, here is one I have been using
for years. Only $8 a month.
To get it go here: https://interserver.net/r/194648
On right menu click Cloud VPS.
Choose KVM - click the windows icon. 1 slice is $8. Then click buy now

I just signed up for cheap-forex-vps.com
My broker offers free vps for Accounts over $3000, and this account has less than that so the options were pay them aud$30 a month, or use other alternatives about aud$39 a month.
Googled and searched for hours.
The cheap-forex-vps.com had a bunch of great reviews at forexpeacearmy, so I went to the site.

2 years at $3+ a month, or Aud$120, so I signed up. It should be activated by tomorrow (they say 24 hours). $120 would only be 3 months with a lot of other vps.

Ps. this is the mini, they offer deluxe and other sevices. Mini recommends 1-2 MT4 platforms, and I only need 1.

Hope this helps others out who are looking.
$3 verses $30 a month... that's % of your account...

For what it's worth, I have been with Cns for a while. I have both the standard edition and market makers edition Vps offerings, the later of which is very pricey. I have found that the more expensive market maker offering reboots way too often for my preference, and I have had numerous instances where I did not receive any advance notice of this. On the other hand, the cheaper standard edition is much more reliable, in my experience. Uptime is critical to me, even more so on weekends; I prefer to reboot on my schedule.

I have had a similar problem with Broker VPS's. I log in to find it has been shut down with no warning. Also other expensive private VPS do maintenance too often and reboot your VPS. Even though you get warning, you have to get up in the early hours to restart your MT4. PAINFUL.
Interserver, the one I recommend above, has never done any of that to me. I can totally rely on it. It's only 8 bucks to try it. I guarantee you will not log in to see it rebooted or have to get up in the cold hours of the morning to restart your Mt4.

AWS looks interesting. But can't find any pricing once the free trial runs out.

I previously recommended VPSLand in this post, now I have cancelled my account after they jacked up the price 200% and changed the server IP, both without warning. Take my advice and steer well clear of VPSLand.

Wow. That sucks.
Fortunately Interserver have been around for decades. I have been with them for 5 years with no problems and no price increase.

You can try Interserver's VPS now for 1c for the first month. Best one I have found and have used them for 5+ years. They have a no price increase policy once you join. Click here to take you to the special.

Hi Event,

Which plan you subscribed to? how you access the VPS from mobile?
Currently I am with amazon vps free tier, i try to compare the EA setup in both VPS and personal PC, and found that amazon VPS have slower execution power compared to personal PC.

Hi. Sorry for late reply. My notification didn't alert me. I am using the windows with one slice $10 a month (a 1c one month trial at the moment). I have had 8 MT4's running with no probs. Been with them over 5 years. Never had a down time. Very rare occasions the interface has run slow, but never effected trade or MT4 or EA's. The best I have found and I have used broker supplied ones.

I have asked them about mobile phone access, and here is a page that describes the free mobile app. https://www.interserver.net/blog/int...e-application/

In addition to the above: If you are new to a VPS choose HyperV for the platform, Windows 2012 (faster with one slice, with windows 2016 you will need 2 slices) - [See image] When you have your VPS, go to windows update and turn it to manual, otherwise it will update and restart closing all your MT4's. I use the HyperV/Windows 2012 with one slice and I am running 11 MT4's with EA's no problem.

In the area where you choose HyperV and windows 2012, it will tell you you need 4gb to run it(which is another slice and an extra $10 a month). But I have 2012 with one slice and no problems. I have tried 2016 and it is too slow with one slice, and the operation is based on windows 10 and it is a nightmare. I couldn't even find a way to make windows update manual. Definitely go for the 2012 version if you want to pay less and keep your sanity.

Note: as an extra precaution, add you MT4's to the VPS start up, so that in the unlikely event the VPS restarts by mistake, you MT4 programs will start automatically. See how here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpGTPd5ndcw

You could also use Amazon Web Services (AWS) and get one year free. They're as reliable as you can get.

I looked at Amazon, but it charges by the bandwidth or something, not a monthly fee. So after the year I don't know what the cost would be. Are you using Amazon? If so how many MT4's are you running? What is the VPS memory and storage? Does the VPS (they call it a VPC) restart sometimes by itself? Is it windows based? Do you access it using remote computer?

Thanks.

Conditions:
- Yes, you can try it for a limited time free to see how it actually is. You will be sharing this server with myself and another trader.
- You will have your own account. I do my stuff, you do your stuff, I don`t want to know more unless you need help.
- I manage fire-walling and protection.

- How you trade and what you earn or loose is up to you. there can be trade negotiation but just as friends not part of server sharing.
