...make the transition to trade the 4hr ...

I look at Weekly for the market type conditions, if it is trending or sideways ...
then I trade the H4 and Daily
always keep an open view to convert a day trade to a swing trade when the opportunity arises.

Example XAUDUSD

- Weekly is now sideways with last week' candle closed and the 50EMA

- Daily is sideways too and Monday was pullback to its 10EMA

- today is critical day if the Daily 10EMA can support

- my H4 price action leads the way for my trade decision today

Of course you finally got one thing right after more then 10 long years in FF Big E named his method '5-Method' because it changed the Price Action Channel PAC to 5EMA, Typical Price, Shift+2 ....

The original PAC is made of two moving averages - 5Smooth MA High price, Shift0 and 5Smooth MA Low price, Shift0 ...

maybe having two lines is too much for your level of intelligence ...

Post#1718... If you meet the TDI entry rule it doesn't much matter where the 5 ema is in relation to the 1st two candles...

Don't what members post at face value, fact check them against what BigE has posted.

Honestly on the 5 method you don't really need any indicators because the simple entry rules are so basic and clear cut. If I were to pick two it would be the tdi & stochs.

I almost always have the tdi & stoch on all my charts regardless of the method being used.

However, it's not necessary on the 5 method for me. It gives people more confidence when they have it on their charts it seems.... and it's a good confirmation to the current PA and possible trade.

You can trade the 5 method without the TDI if it's a problem...

PA is HA Candles, PA crosses the yellow line and closes... enter on the next candle if it's the same color. When candles flatten out... exit. Stay in the trade as long as it doesn't cross back over the yellow line and close.

The TDI just gives me a lot more information for making my entries & exits decisions.

2scoops asked me a long time ago what would be the most beneficial to learning this method for higher success... The answer was simple... study old charts for set ups... now strip down everything on that chart at that point... trends, angles, S/R levels, News times, Stoch angle within the 20-80 lines..etc. Burn it into your memory... I spent 2 years doing that.... so what does that mean?

It takes me 15 seconds to strip a chart down to nothing including the TDI & Stoch's. Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why?

I can take you to water but I can't make you drink... follow the simple entry & exit rules. Forget other indicators. I went down those roads so you wouldn't have too...

Tekkies spends too much on his TDI and Stochastics, with his M15H1 Vline crap, and now on his M15 blue and yellow lines in price

Tekkies did not spend enough time on Post#647 to learn Price Action, Support & Resistance and Market Consolidation.

Tekkies should spend more time on Money Management, Risk management for entries and exits.

Tekkies should learn to reduce his large number of BE trades, and How to Let Profits Run.

Tekkies will one day learn Post#2617 and he will realize that he can strip the TDI and Stochastics from his trading charts and he would then realize that taking trades would be a breeze and that the TDI is not in his WINNING EDGE equation.

Don't [take]what members post at face value, fact check them against what BigE has posted.

But you know that almost no one will do that. They won't even read the thread starting from post #1 up until BigE's final post before he died. So if they are so impatient (or just down right too lazy) to do that, no chance that they will do any fact-checking, because that requires time, effort, and skill at searching a site. Better to just let them fail by following all of the nonsense that Vincent posts that has nothing at all to do with BigE's 5-method.

You already know that not a single person that tried to follow Vincent's nonsense has ever returned to the thread with a success story. And no one ever will.

Entries and exits...
We Enter a trade when green crosses red on the TDI at the beginning of that candle...
If it's candle 3 or more don't enter... find another trade set up.
The only exception is if green bounces off red and continues... it's ok to re-enter on the bounce...
Exit your trade when the green TDI line goes flat, starts to hook over or makes a check mark reversal.
If you add other things it will influence your decisions... usually to your detriment.
Don't try to complicate it thinking it can't be this easy.
Important to study TDI entries on old charts, any time frame...
Give yourself a chance and trade it like it's laid out...
