Disliked{quote} How close is that H1 setup to a to a previous high? is that not obvious on your chart? that swing high yesterday.... resistance.Ignored
Disliked{quote}Yes you can manage the trade once you are in it but to enter or not to enter especially on the lower timeframes you ignore h4 at your peril. Think about it, 4 x 1hr candles make up an h4 bar and the sentiment was well and truly bearish with just one h1 candle to tell you it was going back up.Ignored
Disliked{quote} What I do every day is when I start my trading day is look at all d1 chart for setups or look for a direction /bias. Look at EURNZD D1 chart below. Do you prefer to buy or sell today? If you buy, where should be your initial Stop Loss? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ok, noted your comment to look at the higher TF as well. FYI - when that H4 bar closed, it's no longer an engulfing bearish bar. I suppose the reason that this is not a good A+++ trade if we take H4 TF into consideration is likely due to the small candles and price ranging. Anyways, thanks Lisat for your input .Ignored

Disliked{quote}Perhaps we have different close times my day ends at NY close. But perhaps this helps to make it clearer. Bar labelled A which had closed on my chart when you went in closed a bearish engulfing. Bar B is an inverted hammer so if I then got a good signal on H1 to buy it would be safer then to go in when that closed than the bar before. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Are you using the Synergy Pro APB? Your price bars are quite different overall from my chart.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Em, Hope all is well. I am in this trade long. Entered on 30m TF. Daily close was not the strongest but gave it a go. Also short AUD. Regards RobIgnored
QuoteDislikedH4 does not look good to trade.
