GBPUSD 22 Oct update:

Still no sign of the big move. Price remains trading within that H4 WRB high-low range.
Today will be by best for H1 and M15 trading with smaller target.

Hi,

set the menu Chart option to show as Foreground Chart. This way, the price bars will appear over the APB/HA.
You will see that the real price Open and the APB /HA open are not the same.

I'm new here. Am I in the right track?
AU Monthly-downtrend, Weekly-signed of reversal, Daily - confirmed reversal. Wait to entry at H4 & H1. But sadly I have to go to work
BTW Monthly at key level too(second chart)

About Price Action PA and the TDI crossing,
No matter which TDI you want to use, you must wait for the candle to close to confirm the setup candle.
If you keep watching the TDI Realtime in live market, the Green line moves with the price and if this makes you trade badly then don't look at the chart until the candle closing time. I only check the last 5 mins and wait till the candle close. But when you look at the previous candles , you will know from experience if there will be a valid setup and what that should look like when the candle time expire. This will help you be prepared ahead of the crowd. You will know by the time candle closes what the trade decision would be, your nery, SL, TPs, your lot size,etc. and all other things you want to put in with your trade.

Read all 23 post what Big E had to say on this. Simply do FF search with the keyword 'crossing".

For someone new to this your chart is very good. Clean and not cluttered with other stuff. Keep it this way and you will do well.

You have identified the support and resistance on your chart ... and the Day setup candle using Synergy model is when the candle close below the PAC for sell. But with the support below and very close by, is there enough room for some pips / profits? that's the risk.
I would then trade H4 of H1 for entry and to see if the price will move lower testing the support and that psych level 0.7200. We can alwsy look for further sell when there is opportunity in lower TF.

Hi Emmanuel, I have been watching this pair waiting for a break of that zone.

So, talking about the way you trade, you would wait for a daily setup before taking any short/long on that pair ?, because like I see it right now, I would just wait for a nice H4 setup to the downside(candle closing outside the zone) to take a short.

Hi,

On D1 chart, there is a TDI cross when yesterday candle close. But with support below near 1.5350, no much room for the D1 sell and with technical SL above the double tops will not make is a good R:R trade.
So trading H1 with smaller SL is better for today, but we wait for LO and see if we can sell at a high reversal with small SL.

What I really wanted to ask is
''if the TDI is showing like this (a good looking TDI ) would the fact that the stoch is so high make anyone not take the trade , or be more hesitant in doing so , or does the stoch just have to be pointing in the right general direction ''

Hi Rob,

Without the price chart, I am blind.
But if I have to trade blindly, I would not use the oscillators OB and OS regions for my trade decisions.
In strong trending market type, the oscillators can remain in their OB/OS regions during the trending move.
Corrections can happen during a trending move but we need to see PA for reversal and confirmation. We must not simply assume reversal will happen in the OB/OS region.
Big E uses the Stoch for direction after the reversal. He traded Stochastics for some time before he adopted the Synergy' TDI. He knows them both very well.

The 'trend' on H4 looks pretty strong and reacting at BRN 1.4900, any bearish movement can be correction. D1 chart is bullish.
The current price is far from its 5EMA so I rather and wait to see if we find a reversal so early in the 'trend'.
