Two H1 trades to close this month.
Both price action trades using WRB range high/low as support and resistance and TDI + Stoch to confirm.

The main problem is most platform don't have all the options MT4 has.

I uploaded my settings.

Hi emmanuel,

great trades as usual! I have a few questions.

The GBPJPY trade: Do you consider this an agressive entry? What gave you additional confirmation for this trade? How did you think about the pullback from BRN creating a large wick on the setup candle because I see you entered right after the close of that candle. Are these type of pullbacks normal reactions to BRN's?

Best,

Hi,

At the NY open I was looking at the JPY pairs - UJ, AJ, EJ and GJ. JPy was looking strong so I pick EJ and GJ for the better price action at resistance.

GJ was H4 Pin Bar and my entry was 30 mins into the H1 candle. On M15 was s nice Bearish Outside Bar BEOB.

Hello Folks,

A brand new month just open so we update our charts with the MN candle to see if we have any new swing levels to watch out for.
Today we have several PMI data release for the big economies. So expect volatility in the lower TF - H1 and below.
At the moment with a new H4 open, I don't see any A+++ setup in my favourite 15 pairs. The GA, GN, GC, EA, EN and EC pairs all ran this week so no opportunityies on H4 except look in lower TF H1 and M15.
Better to trade lower TF today and tomorrow. Wait for this week to close and do planning for next week and month.

Good time for me to backup my PC data and run Windows 10 upgrade.
Just a piece of advice if you want upgrade to Windows 10, make sure you save all your MT4 platform data especially your account details and login password.

Trade Safe!

Hi,

I do not know the platform you use but most trading platforms allows the application of moving average to the data in the sub-window.
What is that field input "Data Source"

BTW, did you buy Tesla stock this week? Really interesting with their Model X launch.

The data source make me select it as the moving average of the RSI instead of price.

I think it's done the right way

However it seems harder to follow it on stocks as there are daily gaps between prices (at least on the 4 hours timeframe.) while the FX market is open 24/5 maybe i should look at a smaller one for stocks.

Hi GG,

Read post#59,624.

and follow this chart with explanation below, use the TDI RT and set that to be the same as the Synergy Pro TDI.

using the realtime version you must always wait for the candle to close to confirm the setup candle.

Question : When do we enter a trade without waiting for the setup candle to close and confirm with a TDI cross?

For trading stock on EOD basis, I use the Fozzy-RSI on Day chart. Setting is RSI (8) MA (8).... plus darvas box.

read RSI: The Complete Guide Post#27,110 by John Hayden, that's how Fozzy RSI was used long before the TDI came into the market.

HI all,

I took this trade last night as set and forget. Clearly it's into the 200EMA. Besides this, what else is wrong about this trade? Entered short on close of the bearish bar (red horizontal line). Exit by trade manager 2x ATR(10) (green line).

Best,

Hi,

H1 was in consolidation H1 WRB and if you check the higher TF 'trend', H4 was bullish. Always remember to use Post#647 as our checklist when we want to take a TDI trade.

<quote>
When wanting to enter a TDI trade... take a moment first to observe basic 4x things... like:

How close am I to the previous high or lo

Am I in an uptrend or downtrend.. short & long term...

Am I in or close to a consolidation area
<unquote>

H4 TDI Green over Red and over Yellow indcates bullish momentum.

Thanks for your reply. This is indeed pretty basic stuff that I should know by now. Somehow, there is always something I miss.

On a different note: I noticed you sometimes talk about the 10EMA and sometimes about the 5EMA shift+3. I have searched the thread but can't really find good information on the difference. Or is this difference neglectable?

Best,

Hi, guys!
I took a long on AU, H4, based on TDI bounce and D1 seems out of steam for down trend continuation.

HI Emmanuel,

As a possible answer to your questions:

Took long GBPUSD on break of LO High. LO Was pinbar and TDI crossing on close. During LO+1 Entry at 1.5135. Took +20 pips partial (1/3) and moved to BE. Got stopped out BE for the rest.

Valid entry during candle? Ofcourse countertrend again so definatly no A++ But took quick pips and BE.

Best,

Same trade I took on H4 when seeing price momentum and the TDI volatility in the momentum too. 1st posituionn during Tokyo session opening, and added 2nd position after LO today. I have now a good average entry price.

Now manage to see if it will hit the BRN 0.7100 before US PMI data release.
