STRONG THANKS FOR EMMANUEL, and other friends! This is my first positive Trade. I get 27 green pips Once again, EMMANUEL, THANKS FOR YOUR PERFECT INFORMATIONS Regards, Dan (55 years old) from Slovenia, Europe {image}

Hi Dan,

That was a trade setup well taken. With the recent increase in volatility, you could have target more pips by trailing behind previous candle low.

I took a EURUSD trade at the same time, quite similar setup when NY open, using a 2 -lots entry, I exited one lot at +25pips and kept the 2nd lot running with TP set to 100pips using Cavemanager to manage the SL move to BE after 50pips move.

You can go to this website and look at the recent market volatility for all the currency pairs.

Next week, we should be able to target more pips when trading intraday.

Two GBPUSD H1 trades.one for +31,the other for +63 And GBPJPY H1 for +35 pips. Still have a long way to go. the gbpjpy should stay in ,with the trailing stop 5 pips behind the previous candle.that might catch 50+ pips. Thanks all your guys in the TMS thread ,esp emmanuel7788,PHX62,X-man and so on . {image} {image}

Next week, we should be able to get more pips when trading H1 intraday. You can set TP to 100pips and once protected at BE, just let it run.

Hi,

On my watchlist, I have 12 pairs which I trade frequently.
See this post.
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...32#post7412432

On how I trade with multi-lot, read this post where i explained how it is done.

Using Multiple-Lot Positions to Improve trading TMS: Post#33,507

At any one time, I trade using 1% to 2% risk per currency pair. I can have several currency pairs trades open but I limit to exposure to maximum to 10%.
I seldom have more than 5 pairs with open trades exposed without being protect at BE minimum.

Also remember what Eric said about three amigos - AU, EU and GU, when they ride together in the same direction.

I'm a big fan of this style of trading. I believe it really allows one to take maximum advantage of a trend. Money management is key here as so many people that attempt this do so by over betting the individual trades. Good work on keeping it together.

Compare your chart and mine above.
Those AO and MBFX in your sub-windows are not required in Trading Made Simple 5-Method. Adding all the additional colourful stuff - stars, sun, etc. on the price charts only adds to confusion when we want to make simple buy / sell decision seeing the price action.

Al that we need is the TDI in sub-window and the APB/HA on the price chart.

There are three successful threads all using the same core 5-Method.
- Trading Made Simple
- Another Simple System - Time Frame M15
- X-man's Super Simple System

Week 12 Trades
Trades taken = 4
Losing trades = 3
Winning trade = 1

There was nothing much to show but while looking back at one of the trades where the entry was buy on both the instances, I could see why one entry failed and other resulted into profit. I would like to share that trade here so that we all can learn and share our views about the trade.

Once we look back at our failed trades we can easily see what we did wrong, what could have been the right entry point and we can hold ourselves accountable for our actions.

Kindest Regards

When we trade intraday using H1 chart timeframe, we must be able to buy and sell within the same day. To be long term profitable, we need a high win rate and a minimum Risk:Reward ratio of 1:1. We must learn to exploit trading in the trend and get higher R:R of 1:2, 1:3 ....

The challenge for most traders is to know the market type in which they trade. There is a trend in every timeframe and at same time, there is a market type in every timeframe.
To succeed in this business over a longer term is to be consistent in the way we approach the market. We need to know the market type in which TMS 5-Method is most suitable for us to trade in each of the chart timeframe.
You need the first Key to develop TMS 5-Method into your very own winning system

What is this first Key?
read it here : First KEY

the second Key is in post#55,099

Emmanuel ... Thanks for your comments , I am here to learn .
I do have the TDI and I think it mirrors the AO, and as I have a zero line on the AO, it allows me to see that I can stay in a trade if the AO is maintaining above or below the Zero, Filters out small retracements.
Does the TDI work to any lines ?
I do not know what you mean by Stars, Sun etc and I am not familiar with APB ? but I do have Hieken Ashi, though I do not know if they provide any extra signals themselves. Thanks very much for your comments, I am keen to make this work.

Hi,

To learn how to trade TMS 5-Method, you need to know how the Average Price Bar APB and the TDI work. These are the main components of the Synergy trading model.
You will find a pdf description in the link below.
Synergy BASICs : Post#5,695 in X-Man S3 thread for H1 and H4 trading
