Welcome to this forum!

Are you completely new to trading or just new to this forum?
Is the problem that you can't get your indicator into metatrader? Or can you do that but it just doesn't work?

If you want to add any indicator, you have to download it, say to your desktop, open the map where you installed the programm metatrader, find the map 'experts/indicators' and drag the indicator to the map 'indicators'. You have to restart the metatrader and then it should work.

Took EUR/JPY trade today which was a roller coaster trade, other pairs moved in harmony and I chooses this market where things got slaughtered the hard way, actually I really was accepting market to stop me out, but pa failed to make lower low and lower close so I stayed in the trade, this is the only thing that kept me in the way of surviving the trade, and before US new comes out, pa started moving aggressively and hit my TP for +20 pips

I don't know if should I have closed the trade with a loss of like 15 to 20 pips or just wait and see if market takes me out or make a lower low and lower close to negate the trade

trade took 8 hours to reach target, emotion was ups and downs, thought even to move the target a little bit over initiated TP when momentum started before news, did I have done that , I would still be stuck into the trade or closed with a loss

Hope I can learn from this journey , this week so far no loss, hope to finish tomorrow in the same way, the turtle way

I like to get the higher time frames. I notice that there was compression during your trade, that is why you had to wait. As this narrow range breaks. there will be an excellent entry for you.

The faster time frames are great for thrills, I think that for me the 240 minute and daily is where the profits lay. I use small positions and leave them until they are taken out by the stop loss, adding at each fractal in the trend.

of course NRahman!!!!

first of all you need to install TDI: copy tdi_rt in r indicators folder
Crogram FilesMetaTraderexpertsindicators

after this click two time on file and will open a new window with metaquote code;
press compyle button and close the window

close plattform and reopen.

next step: insert/indicators/custom/TDI_RT and the indicator will open under your chart.

second step, 5ema: go to Moving Average and parameters period 5, 3, Exponential, Typical price HLC/3;

third step set stochastic with this parameter: 8, 3, 3.

Finish!!!!!

Hi bonkers,

I went long EUR/CAD 1H but closed the trade as price approached daily low, also RSI price line kinda bounces off the upper volatility band.
This was a CT trade, based on the obviously oversold condition (TDI hook off a level approx 23.6). Maybe on 4H there is more potential.
