GoToBar Indicator/EA routine

MT4 is particularly hopeless at being able to find a particular bar and I'm wondering of there's a routine that can help me on this score.

Im doing some testing and will need to be able to easily go to a 5min bar on a particular date and then jump to another time. If you're doing this across a few months, scrolling is a very slow and laborious way of doing this and I'd hoped that somehow I'd be able to jump to a particular point in time a bit easier than it appears to be. There may be something I've missed, so if anyone can help out Id appreciate it.

I've actually found that JForex has just what I need so will use that platform instead. Its much more intuitive a method for getting from place to place on a chart.
Metacoder need to do something about this as its quite a weakness in their charting.

You dont't know the hidden tricks in MT4 :-)

If you press the SPACE bar when you view a chart, a white input line appears at the bottom of the chart.
you can enter the date you want to skip to in there, eg. with the format 2010.11.30, and ater pressing RETURN you will be at this date immediately.
