I second that motion. The performance of certain pairs may be due to the fact that a particular pair was trending without a catchable retrace or if it was ranging. Therefore, IMHO it should be fluid and dynamic and not static.

On this issue you need to write the right question. The question is this? How often will a currency pair run outside the range of the EA? That is the key question. Currency pairs will always have their good weeks or bad weeks but which ones are likely to run a certain distance without retracing and how often. That question actually is answered by the fundamentals of what drives a currency pair. Unfortunately there is no indicator that judges that, however, we can check past runs and then look up the main news story that made the currency run like that. Then we are on the look out for the same type of thing. With Euro nation default news out again, watch out, because that is a driving force behind a run. (remember May/June with Greece) Now we have Ireland in the news, is it or isnt it? It doesnt have to happen but if it is believed it is going to happen watch out.

I have unloaded Master EA _023 and on the screen the writing has appeared of which to the enclosure document: then it is not a value numerical that that, it will eventually have to insert him to the place of the xes in, "TodayNet>=xxxxx."

I have to add that I am using the version MAXX_v212, live, with some positive result (in comparison to the 2000 initial dollars, the balance is equal to 2450 in over fifteen days of trades) but, at times, the negative exposure is notable and, it seems me, that not even the recent Master EA_023 doesn't put us to the shelter from this possibility.

Another thing that I would like to signal is that after the version MAXX_v150 that, perhaps it was the best in this matter, the following versions, included the last, the MAXX_v212, totally absorbs the available power of the computer and, to succeed in loading the first screened, needs a lot more than a few minutes!.

Nevertheless I believe that the EA has notable possibilities and that Max has done a grandiose job!

Tonight i will post the MasterEa 24 that is a very good profit traker.

concerning load of the EA, you need a very powerfull Pc if you use more more than 10 pairs

actually i have 5 demos on the same computer, running 21 pairs each, but it's a cuting edge high End overclocked PC with 12Go RAM. Normally , you should use without problem at least one demo with 15 or 20 pairs if you PC is not older than 3 years.
If no, you can try open Mt4 with Expert advisors OFF (you only have few seconds for that for click), wait few minutes and then allow Expert advisors.
don't be afraid, the EA is a very much complicated monster that consume many CPU (even if i did my best to reduce it), but all the code provided worth something. Note that with latests versions I reduce very much the code size (from v150)

I'm running your bot alongside another bot on a different MT4 broker on a 4 year old laptop just fine.
Max - i've not been following this thread much, sinse Macman's started. Its been nice to see how your EA has evolved. Is the logic still the same as nanning bob's?

December is coming up, usually a quiet month. I might try turning secondary trades on again as it generally just ranges. Though with the Ireland fiasco going on this may be a different year.

Last year I hung in there two days too long and ended up with a small losing month. If I only knew which pairs were going on the long slow trend you can make some good money. If someone can figure that one out I would appreciate at it very much.

maxou any chance of upgrading to version 6.2? Seems like the use of TMA and EMA is helpful. We could even keep the original v5 things that were removed so its even more conservative.
i agree. 6.2 is working it would be nice to see it automated.

My advice : rename the version I just realeased to "last version", like that every time I realease a new version, you only have to load it in editor and save as "last version" and compile it, it's then update in every charts.
- apply the tpl in every charts.
- open another chart (gy m15 for example) and apply master.tpl

The 212 version is amazing please test it and may be there is some improvments to do in the ClosingByGlobalProfit code.

My setup doesn't seem to take any trades maybe I'm doing something wrong. I am using MAXX 213 with master ea 019. I have the for pair chart windows.tpl set up on all charts and 213 loaded on each with master on its own window. Can someone help?

In the decembers you have noticed this, which currencies tended to trend in this fashion? When I examined it, the only one I determined did this year over year was the euro. and the dollar-yen in the beginning of december.

Do you have some news on Master_EA24?

The principal EA, Maxx212, is having a dreadful exposure, also to motive for the particular course of the markets in this last period, but I believe is opportune to think - also the suggestions in worth could be useful - to one some solution.

Hi Max - seems like you've been away.

Any thoughts about updating your EAs with Bob's new method i.e using the TMA etc and doing away with RWB and the six's indicator?
