Yes, you need, it looks at the daily profit and close all open positions if equity have increase enough, depends the DD suffered.
Moreover it set global variables that are used in the EAs, without Master EA, Maxx Ea is orphan

Here guys is the 213, that is the same that 212, I move the params and deleted not necessary one, so you can play to optimise and tweak these params.

Ok, thanks and did you include a user option to select my own value for Global DD closure since the last one I used closed all my trades when I didn't want it to at -DD.

here are 3 demos results (v133, v150 and v202)
Master Ea done his job rather well, except on the #3 it didn't close all today because equity is not in profit

Seems like v150 is the way to go? I don't know about you guys but I would die on a live account if all my profits could be gone on a DD.
Hi Max,

I am testing v.213 and receiving this error.

The things I changed are the default lot size, from 0.15 down to 0.01 and profit target fromo 600 to 40 (I took 1/15 here due to my lower lot size. I don't know if my logic was correct).

Please see the attached picture for the error.


and sometimes I am receiving an error like this =>

I wonder if you are going to write a brief "how to" document on the bot, because there are plenty of settings one can choose from and not all of them are easy to decipher for a newcomer like me.


PS: Even though I am using v.213, on the screen, it claims to be v.213

1st week with maxou's version. Pretty impressed with the default out of the box settings. I just wish there was a way we could optimize the entries.
I think the entries are good enough. My point of view is that Markets are globally ramdom and it's a waste of time to try to improve entries. It's well hnowed that "best" forecasters are not better than a dart player.
So we should concentrate now on MM, ie how to deal with good trades and how to deal with bad trades, how to reduce the risk of failure ect...

I started testing V213 yesterday and since then I have had a repetitive error, strangely only on EurAud.

From the attached you can see there is a Sell and Buy trades but this is not the only pair so not sure why only this is producing the error.

Earlier I actualy closed the trades after getting the error repeatedly. Later the trades reopened and the error started again.

Zr, From your screen shot, it looks like some of the trades are buys with a TP & SL both higher than the buy price. Or sells with TP & SL both lower than the sell price.
The numbers just dont appear logical.
Do they look similarly 1 sided, when there is no error being reported?

Yes I think was trying to set some strange SL/TP hence the error.

Unfortunately I do not have any open trades as the the EA closed all open trades automatically. I will keep an eye on it and will report back.
Guys. I've been running Maxx (through many versions) in Demo for 36 days now so I thought I'd look at which pairs were most profitable. The results are interesting.

The most profitable is EURUSD. Contributing 39.45% of all profits. The worst is EURCHF with -33%.

Of a total of 21 pairs, 12 showed profit ranging from just over BE to the EURUSD above. Adding up the profit % of those top 12 gives 171% of the profit. So the other 9 pairs actually made a 71% loss. You can see all of this here: http://www.mt4i.com/users/zr-fx-max/stats

The top pairs are:

By the way, I have used Maxx live for a while, but because of so many trades I felt I could not control it. When things went south after the USD QE I closed all open trades at a loss just to clear the slate. So the idea of deploying less pairs is even more tempting.
Nice to see you follow the bot.
I am not sure that selecting pairs is relevant at this stage, since it should be only luck (or no luck) that seems to show good/bad pairs.
When we will have 100 trades for each pair, then we will be able to build some conclusion about which one are the best performer, but still carefully, analyse deeper is important, may be the worst pair is due to only 1 or 2 bad trades that occurs, may be they will not accur any more for this pair and they will occur in the future for another pair that showed very good profits so far.
Always be cautious when optimising....
