the Interactive thread is for alerts and discussion of trades that have been called here

read Kostas rule 6 at the start of the interactive thread
"6. Only if an upcoming trade alert has already been posted, it is OK to discuss it after the fact to see what went wrong or what worked (charts would be better in this case)."

so its ok to discuss with charts trades that we have called earlier to get feedback.

so i am not sure if you called that trade or not and i am not so picky, i only commented that if you split a conversation between 2 threads ppl will get confused. thats all.

Hi guys, I wanted to ask an experienced trader in this method, what would you think about this H4 signal...

My thoughts so far are this would be the second time in just an equal number of candles that H4 touches this MA's, although they have a good confluence of 10 and 35 it might have lost some importance or strength as a ressistance given it is the second attempt to brake... would you agree on this?? The first time this signal was taken it bounced of the MA's on H4 and an area of resistance... it was a good signal... EDIT: there's also a gap to be filled up there, not so promising for higher TF shorts...

Now 5M chart calls for a small scalp long, which might be valid too because the great difference in size from H4 to M5... I would like to read your insights in this second touch of the MA's in H4... just to learn... thanks for your comments guys!

Kostas to manage your trades are you currently using the THV Cave manager or the Lustrom visual order manager? Which have you found more suitable for Choros?

I just have my 7 consective loss, all my positions are red today.... (although some of my trade are experimental, none of them reach +8 pips). Any comment with my CHF M15.E10 @ RN touch trade attached?

In the usd/chf trade, you were trading against a 4h 35 first touch. I don't know about usd/cad, but I suspect this isn't a good time of day for it, as cad isn't heavily traded.

You full filled all the rules for the 2 touch trades accept for one. You have to trade the currency that have its market open. USD is not open yet.

Today I had 2 "by the rule" touch trades that fail. This past few days seems strange, the "by the rule" trades haven't been doing as well as other times. while I was on demo I was averaging easily 5-18% a day with 0.5% risk pertrade. Yesterday while trading my live account for the 1st time I only gain 10 pip. At this time I am down 20 pips. (I am only risking 0.1% pertrade)

I don't meant to be an ass but that broke the two bar rule. The irony is I followed the 2 bar rule and lost 10 pips in this trade.

Well..welcome to the club,bro..that the reality...when you go from demo to live, suddenly all seem strange isn't it...
Later on when you go further deep into the forex market...you will realize that the most difficult in trading is not mastering the system..but the trading psychology.
Just my 2 cents..

Thanks. Hmm, I don't think I am having issues with psychology(I feel nothing losing 0.1% pertrade). I think it is the market acting up. I will wait till end of the week or month with my results to see the stats.

2 bar rule is for touch trade only. I waited for PA to enter for this one.

Check the manual, it said:
1. TWO BAR RULE for “Touch Trades” is simply this. It is a “retrace” trade and If it takes more than TWO large bars to “get there” (to “touch” the MA), pass on the trade and wait for P/A to reveal where Price is really going.

I think we all here just comment positively in a constructive way, so I guess nobody will think that meant to be an ass.

You are right, it broke the 2 bar rules, but (I just mean it for your losing trade and hopefully for a winning next one) it did not break the rule:
1st Ema 10 Touch: Take it.

It was in this case a bit a conflict between those two "rules" and I am surely far away from having the right to speak as a consistent winner yet, but I saw that sometimes for that reason the smaller TF confirmation are very important.

Sometimes they will cost you some pips left on the table, but some other they will save your above mentioned from jumping into the trade too early.

Also (did not check the chart for that trade) : what music were playing the Higher Time Frames ?
