USD/CAD might go up little bit ~200pips before it will go down. Lets see

Good bearish pullback on the USDCAD to the 1.4100 zone. The retracement may be over and price may try to go back up.

yeah we might see some fluctuations.. got a bit excited laast week on a short, added to it and over leveraged myself a bit, not really confident on the pair moving up or down tbh.

Current significant levels to watch. Yellow level has .50 fib confluence but is still far away.
Pair is being pushed by weaker hands at the moment trying to get onto the up trend. Around 1.4443+ they are likely to capitulate if not before.

I got a chart that says roughly the same thing.

Not sure what oil will do given it is back below $30, will it reach $20? will it ranging between $25 and $35 for a while?

Report for the week ending Jan 22 2016 USDCAD got way overbought and had an exhaustion climax buying to just under 1.47 and then reversed strongly. Whilst momentum on the daily and weekly charts is strongly positive, lower timeframes like the 240 min and 480 minutes have tradeable negative momentum that should see it test down to 1.38 to 1.40 area next week. Trading strategy for the next two weeks will be to stay short until support is found in this zone and then go long for a retest of at least 400 to 600 pips back up For real time trades refer...

USDCAD found resistance at 1.4320 on move up. This gives even stronger odds of a move down to 1.38 zone this week . 1.38 - 1.382 zone would be abc down measured move.

I think we might see it move even lower - towards 1.3700 - 1.3650.
All eyes on FOMC, this will be the same move as the BOC, i.e. sell rumour buy the fact. I guess today's squeeze on USD reflects how crowded USD long is, but if FOMC gives no hints on slowing down hiking pace, then USD will probably soar again.

USDCAD still has some unfinished job at 1.4420, we shall see.

If it holds 1.37 and bounces in the 1.37 - 1.40 zone, then 1.46 - 1.47 area and above is in play.
