DislikedHi teb, i thought the stochs were more complicated than that. I mean they take into consideration far more than just the current price. I thought that if you had say a 15.3.3 on the one hour, that would be equivalent to a 5.3.3 on the 3hr as 1hr is 1/3 of 3hr therefore we would have to divide the 15 to get 5 (for the stoch setting).
I am a little lost as to how a 14.3.3 on a 1hr would be equiv. to a 4h 5.3.3. I would expect a 5.3.3 on a 4hr to be a 20.3.3 on the 1hr as 4hr = 4x1hr = 5x4 = 20.

Its not- it would be really the 3hour but the diff becomes to small to the 4 hour it loses it's helpfulness.
it is a little more then just this but not a lot-
that is why it works because it is so simple
