At some point the dip must end, so now prices have to rise a little bit, maybe even more later....we'll see.
Then crude oil down is a great support for Techs rise.

4 hours later after a 90 pts pull back price again moved up to make a new high at the first expansion level before dropping sharply into the close

After a slow start Dax is moving on up towards its 14,400 BRN which is close to my Fib 100% level for today...

I guess there's more upside to come, at least for NQ. But it was a good morning, so I might just go out and enjoy the beautiful day.

Over Easter I've decided to go with tick charts for both morning and afternoon sessions. No candle patterns, no candle closes to wait for, but simply entering when levels hold or break. KISS and with a lot more precision than time-based charts.

Interesting, how many ticks are you using, before I read your post I had put a 100 tick chart up as a trial

The chart above is a 50 tick chart with the colour zone defined by EMAs 20 and 89. Then daily VWAP levels, and a 19 ATR channel around EMA1400. How your tick charts look very much depend on broker if you are trading CFDs, so some tuning michght be needed,

Buying off Camarilla S4 after the cash close (vertical yellow line) last night continuing overnight. Long off EMA1400 just after 8am for a ride to Camarilla R3.

This morning's action in Dax...

After yesterday's wide ranged day - 310 pts vs the 5 ADR of 257 pts - a quiter day is not unexpedted.

The early failure - after XO - to move above the BRN led to a downswing of 66 pts with several clear entry areas.

Then the Higher Lows from 7:33 gmt onwards have several clear buy areas into the 97 pts upsing which lasted 72 minutes.

So, for me, that finished my morning's trading
