Brand-spanking new tick database.

In an effort to collect as much tick data as possible, I have put together an online database and I am populating it with ticks.

I am almost ready to release this to the public, but before I do, I would like some beta testers to help me out. First five people to open a ticket at Forex.offers4u.biz/support asking to join the beta test under help topic "Tick Database Request" will be included.

Once I can confirm that everything is working, I will release the database to the public. Any more contributions of tick data would be welcome as well. Also, I'm looking for a LAMP programmer to help set up a website where users can download the data.

where will the data come from? i mean, its an OTC market, therefore every liquidity provider will generate different set of tick data and the differences can between data feeds from different brokers can be quite large. If you develop your strategy with one data feed and than try to trade it on another one, you can have different results, especially if you trade with high frequency where the tick data is most useful.

In an effort to combat that, I'm going to try and get a set of 'feeder' members from various brokers. What the database is supposed to be doing is it averages the value of the tick, similar to how the FF price widget currently works.

What a coincidence ron! In fact i was myself thinking to capture Tick data for 2 months or so through my server 24/6 for testing purposes.. Ticket created!
