I had tried this software but I couldn't make it work with forex quotes, especially those with 5 decimals

So what are you using now?

Actually I don't use point and figure at all. I really like it but I couldn't make it work in my favor. I have read some books, I did some practice but still I feel more comfortable with candlesticks. So far the best indicator for metatrader that I found is this http://www.point-and-figure.net/ but still is just a indicator

Hi! Best of all I have are surfing with premium forex quotes metastock. But now I do not have subscriptions to these quotes. :-(

Use the format csv. It is easier to do. Here are my old notes. Comments in Russian, sorry. Use pictures, you'll understand.

Import the data from the MT in the format csv. Convert the file so as an attachment. I think this is the easiest way. Bad English, sorry ...

[size=3][b]You use the Windows 7?...

Hi fteller, yes I now use windows 7 in 64 bits. It looks interesting and I will try it some time. As I understand this it should be done daily (or every 4 hours) and for each pair separately. Correct?

Anyone manage to catch the webinar with Jeremy du Plessis yesterday on FXStreet.com? Very informative session. Luckily they recorded it and have now uploaded it. You can watch it here:

The bollinger band squeeze on P&F charts looks quite interesting doesn't it?

I am still using Point & Figure charts for my trading each day. P&F is great if you want to see where there is major support and resistance, and like mentioned in the previous post, you get a great overview on the market.

For my daytrading approach, I am using a 10 pips boxsize with a reversal amount of 2 boxes. Attached screenshot is the current setup in EURUSD. Beside P&F, I am also using the fibonacci pivots points, which work really great. And also I draw the high, low and close value of the previous day into the chart, as those values also...

Hi, I'm put to work on this task. I do not have enough time now to do ....

========================
The Swiss franc is having a one sided summer, thanks to the global slowdown.
Even a sophisticated intervention attempt by the SNB was short lived, and failed to stop the franc.
The debt crisis in the old continent and the debt ceiling issues in the US meant a stronger Swiss franc across the board, with fresh records against both major currencies.
Where will this stop?

*The Euro is still unclear and it seems that investors are waiting for some kind of a trigger to determine the direction. Monday is French & Italian holidays, so the Euro might by numb until Tuesday. Then, there is an important data such as the German GDP and building permits in the US.
*The 200 SMA is still a strong supportive area for the Euro, and as long as it remains above that support it will have better chances for rising towards 1.44 and above. A break-down can take the Euro down to 1.385.

Just started using this software today - http://www.multicharts.com/free/ has a good PNF function and accepts a lot of data feeds. I use esignal so it's great for VSA as well (my main analysis)

No I have not used it before. I just read the book of DuPlesis and I saw the webinar that he did. It is really very impressive tool for Point and Figure. But I don't know if £499 per year worth it for my small start up account. I suppose it is just a charting software right? The data must be obtained elsewhere.

Can you tell more details about your configuration? I would like to know more about the total cost per month and where you get the data from. Also I suppose you do your analysis with it and use your brokers platform to enter the orders. Correct?
