Was this a valid setup (it has hit SL now - looking back, would a bigger candle/longer tail have been more ideal)?
Looking at this nzdcad daily to close. Buy this inverted hammer looks promising. It's off of a major resistance

@sofiecoco - your trade/trigger candle looks like a valid setup. I get this though (see image) - not a valid setup. Could be difference in broker or something...

Yeah, it's most likely due to the difference in broker. I haven't seen any new setups. If you find any, please share! :-)

Yeah ignore the 50EMA - was more focused on the candle not meeting the rules for my chart but did meet the rules for @sofiecoco

Was too tight with my SL moving past the BE and got stopped out.

Would it be correct to say these are trades you would not take - although we have the trigger candle, the EMAs are not showing us a trend - they have just crossed and could be considered flat, not pointing up/down to indicate trend?

I see both as going sideways

Took this on the demo - workout. I did think it would struggle to make it.

Well, it turned out to be a very good trade with +3.69% RR profit and still running.

As I said in my original post on the trade, I was not confident on the trend, so I never placed the trade...
The trend looks OK after the event, but at the entry time, the 8ema looked to be levelling out.

You started the thread in 2009 and you are still using the same simple system. I admire you !!!
I have a question for you after seeing your profile. Is this system used to trade the IB Maximizer?
