Does anybody else with one of these accounts notice that there are a lot of limitations on trading these accounts? Why can't I set my TP and SL at anything less than 5? And TS anything less than 10? It also won't let me preset the TS for the trading mode at all. (Trading mode is when you preset all the trades you make). I tried to get support in the chat but the guy told me chat support is only for standard accounts.

In order to provide you with tight spreads for 1K lot sizes (as little as 15 cents per lot for EUR/USD), we control expenses, such as costly support services. Instead of providing these services to you by phone or IM, we have innovated extensive self-help sections so that you can find immediate answers on our Web site. http://www.forexmicrolot.com/support.jsp

Once there you can read about Trailing Stops here: http://www.forexmicrolot.com/faq.jsp# and on the forum here: http://forexforums.dailyfx.com/fxcm-micro/?t=126

Hope that helps,

Jaclyn: I have sent two different emails to the place provided for having "EAs" written with questions about how they are done. I have never received an answer. I have posted twice (or more) in the forum and never received an answer. I see other questions many days old that go unanswered. I would say there is NO support. There has to be at least "emergency" support for times such as frozen platforms and disconnects. You guys (and gals) could get more customers if you just added a little help. The LUA language absolutely sucks. There is no connection between it and the Order2Go. "Maybe next release." OK, so when is that? I'm planning on live trading the micro starting Monday and I fear any kind of glitch will cost me money. Ken.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for voicing your concern, if in the future you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] I may not always be able to answer your question but can put you in touch with someone at FXCM who can.

Order2go/APIs are a completely different product from micro. FXCM Micro is the discount brokerage arm of FXCM, with 30-40% lower spreads, it is designed for self-starting traders that prefer low cost over real time support. Micro has moderators actively assisting clients on its trading community. The average response time for clients contacting the FXCM Micro desk is about 30 minutes on cases.

For Order2go its all programmers helping one another, you can go to programming services (who can create a custom solution for you) as well http://www.fxcm.com/strategy-consulting-landing.jsp

Kindest regards,

Hi,
There`s something on Fxcodebase.com about free indicators & strategy development if shared or widely distributed, or a premium service (pay for service) if you want to keep your strategy private. That said, at this time it doesn`t seem to have much interest from EA Autotrading developers like the MT4 platform.
