Hi, trading...

Glad to see you are doing fine with your system! Indeed m60 gives you less signals, but much more reliable!

Cheers!

Good trading!

Im following the thread as well and have the Koala system on my chart.
Still playing around with it but it is giving some nice signals indeed.

Im more a reader than a writer but still wanted to give some support since not many people are posting here.

Thanks for sharing and keep posting!

the flattening was a false alarm

for those who have followed koala at the beginning of the parallel, the party goes on

my personal TP is 1.3993. i somehow feel folks will be there to test 1.4000.

Besides i am exiting ALL positions by end day. No weekend risk for me. 1.4000 is a VERY impt level.

is anyone trying out koala? hows your results will be happy to hear from u !

Yeah, trading801... bank holidays all over the world... nice to see that your system kept you out today...

Have you ever seen the Cornflower System.... a similar approach, and some good insights there...

Let's wait for the parallel lines tomorrow!

Cheers!
Many share my views with me. But I don't share them with them...

hi all, i dont have access to screen shots now but its worthwhile to note that markets are whipsawing.. you can see from M60 , the parallel down then up... if you followed on the onset, you can still make some pips..

however this serves to remind there is no holy grails caution...

interesting day !

1) if you entered on the onset of parallel, you should have nailed about 50 - 100 pips, depending on your stop loss !

2) classic false alarm. If you take a look at the level 1.4000, caution should be taken However if you use the standard 50 SL, you would have survived ... bring you to

3) potential parallel drop hope the party begins soon

Ah,

the previous post turned out to be a false alarm in the making (1) how i wish we had hindsight

now did you enjoy the trip up? would love to hear your $$$

Now that we flipped to the down side (2), will this be a end to the trend? A dip in S & P may suggest so too ..

all the best !!

P/S are there any users at all? i wish to discuss on fine tuning... am thinking is M30 better? M60 seems to lag a little too much?

it was a short ride down from that... 100pips would have been garnered ..

now we are sitting on a potential turning point of highside for the koala... lets wait and see...

ECB rate coming soon too

This week is not a fantastic week for the Koala System, however if you followed true to the pip, it should be a mildly gain week

1) Start of the week is good. Following the parallel, a net of a few tens of pips should be there

2) Looking at 2, it is a classic example of a low volume tight ranging market identified by the Koala. Good for scalpers but not for me.

3) With the US / LONDON overlap, where most moves occur, there was a potential for a ride up. However as stated, long should be entered only on dips from M5. Otherwise you will risk entering at the top with little pips to harvest

4) Another move identified by Koala. Down instead.

5) Another tight range market day identified by Koala. If you insist on trying and have insufficient SL, the crazy whips would have whip you off. Why is the market so tight? ECB rate day

6) Lastly NFP, the major event every month. I would have stay out thorough as NFP is known for its whippy styles. Better safe than sorry.

Did you make some pips? Or have you found a better improvement? Share !
