Hi George,

Although it only supports candlestick charts at this stage, it won't be difficult to make the algo run on Range Bar charts or Renko charts.

The TMI value for each bar is computed by calculating the corresponding CCI and ATR, both of which require arrays of highs, lows and closes of a given period (as you may know already this is usually 50 for CCI and 5 for ATR). For both Range Bar charts and Renko charts, closes are always equal to either highs or lows. I think this will not be a problem in computing the TMI.

I will definitely implement Range Bar charts or Renko charts (or hopefully both!) in my system. I will post the results on here as well.

Here are the two that I have used - to get the history you need to put them on the EURUSD if you put in 20 - 30 pips in the range. No other charts have much history and it needs to be built up unless it is imported into your platform from some other platform.
If you use 5 0r 10 pip ranges the history builds very quickly for any chart.
You may have to change your CCI to a setting of 34 for these offline charts.

On a serious note though, I like TM, but wish it had an alert option for when the color changes. Email alert option would be amazing.

I'm having my coder add alert options to Trend Magic. It will be great if there was an audio, pop up, and email alert option
Anyone know what happened to Tudor Girl? I'm on page 17 of this thread...I imagine eventually I will find out what happened. It's like reading a novel, except I can't read the last chapter to find out what happened to the main character

On another note...about all the chatter about how to exit. I like to exit based on HeikenAshi Zone Trade gray candle.

Hi Texas Pipster, thanks for the screenshot, I am using your HeikenAshi Zone Trade indi and am liking what I see.
Anyone using this system with good results?
I changeg some things, trend magic in this system is only to use how trailing stop ( this indicator give a later signal, because of this is used only to trailing stop). Damiani indicates the moments to trade(most volatility), trendline is your main sinal to enter and maybe to out, tudor girl indicates the trend to trade, but TudorGirl is only M15 and H1. I add FTI target point and you can set your targets. I add an EA-Break even, and when the price move 5 pips, break even works. This system is for scalping in M1.

Enter in a position when 2 lines of trendline crosses 0 + damiani show the message "trade", close the position when one of the lines crosses against the trend, you can re-enter if the line crosses again(always the trend that TudorGirl show).

Close your position if the trendline go against you(cut losses quickly)

I still use your smC4Scalper candles with great effectiveness. Thank you for your contributions to our endeavors. If you would be so kind, could you tell me if the last version of your smSwingman Vorticity is called "smSwingman Vorticity fixed", or did you update that later? Similarly, is "smSwingman FisherTransform3" the last version you did for that?
